What if Astralis join Valorant?
Do we think that if Astralis make the unlikely decision to switch over to Valorant, will they have a dominate run or will they falter?

Switch over?

I think he means if the astralis CS team just switched over to valorant.

Ohh why not recruit a complete Valo Roster?
2021-06-15 12:26
Because every other esport team in Astralis except the CSGO team sucks

imo a tier 1 team instantly. They have the fundamentals that will take others some time to learn and catch up I think. tier 1 players right now come from games like OW, fortnite, lol, apex and even rust lmao which are different when it comes to the tactical side of the game.

kinda wanna see what would happen if a tier 1 cs team switched to valorant, they make more in cs tho

S1mple has said if I were Astralis I would make the switch. It's more than a will they do it, I really would like to see what would happen if a Tier 1 cs team makes the switch, we've only seen Nitr0 and Ethan do the switch. Every other cs player in valorant are chokers, throwers, washed up, tier 3 players and tier 2 players.

LMAO

Is this an indirect way of saying that Ska and Autimatic are thrash at valo even though they are major winners?
2021-06-16 00:38
To be fair, Skadoodle and Autimatic may have been t1 players at a time but Skadoodle was out of the scene for 2 years, Autimatic wasn't playing T1 CS since September of 2019. But majority of the players in Valorant are t2/t3 players most of whom were washed.

a lot of promising players switched to Valorant, like leaf, sick, tenz, floppy, xeppaa

floppy and xeppa were playing tier1
2021-06-16 20:37
Floppy and xeppa did play t1 cs, but the team's results show that they weren't ready for t1 cs. Just because someone is able to be in a t1 cs server, doesn't mean they were meant for it

floppy | floppy_fan_nr1
to be fair it was xeppas first experience but floppy has been playing t1 tournaments since with atk
2021-06-17 04:40
xeppaa and floppy kind of got done dirty. they were getting paid a lot of money and were expecting better results and failed to produce so it makes sense. but there was a lot that also happened. the team never had a proper boot camp. half of the team never even got to meet each other. when you put that into mind you kind of feel bad.
2021-06-17 17:19
Tenz was a choker in csgo, and could perform when C9 needed it the most
2021-06-16 21:56
Sick was a up and comer that blew his shot. He performed along side Twistzz, Sgares, AmaNek and Cadian, but was never able to gain a spot in the top 3 NA teams
2021-06-16 22:05
Not discrediting Leaf in anyway, but he never played t1 cs, he was outcasted due to Fallen, Fer and Tarik accusing him of cheating. So I would say he was a promising player that switched to Valorant, but a man that is trying to prove to everyone that he doesn't cheat
2021-06-16 22:12
yes but majority of them who switched were washed t2/t3 players. tenz was overrated. sick blew his chance, leaf i have no comment and floppy/xeppaa kind of got screwed over. they might switch back when LANs come back for CS and c9 returns.

floppy dislikes valorant and when asked if he will switch again to cs he said idk
2021-06-18 08:10
I mean would you call anyone from og Fnatic or NIP t1 csgo pros, just because they won majors. I 100% would say that Get_Right and F0rest are washed up t2 or t3 csgo players
2021-06-16 22:23
+1
2021-06-16 00:56
They would be a Tier 1 team pretty much instantly. Even though they aren't as good as they once were. Durpeeh and Magisk are still pretty good and pretty much every player on Astralis atm is better than majority of the Valorant scene. Would be interested but I don't think they would do it.
2021-06-16 01:01
I feel like that the major that is coming up is the last straw for majority of the csgo pros. I believe that there be a lot of well known switching over to Valorant if they can't win this major. If S1mple wins the major, he might switch over to valorant because he has achieved everything he has ever wanted and will be ready to retire whenever. It's a high chance that Tarik will make the switch unless he replaces someone on Complexity.
2021-06-16 22:19
tarik already said that if he goes pro again it would be in CS. i dont see any of the pros switching. there is no point or would be no point. majority of valorant pros were washed CS pros to begin with. most were t2/t3 NA players. the upcoming major will have a lot of hype though.
2021-06-17 17:12
I can only see Tarik joining complexity due to results or go back to EG and get rid of stanislaw, because EG is clearly not doing well. Maybe FaZe, Flusha's team or newly formed NA team. I highly doubt he is going to join a tier 2 na team, he and Stewie2k are the only consistent players from the boston Major. Rush may be on complexity, but is putting up mediocre results.
