Acend bench BONECOLD
After their VCT 2021 - VALORANT Champions 2021 success, Acend failed to impress any fans during VCT 2022 - EMEA - Stage 1 - Challengers - Main Event. The European team lost three games and won, which kept them in the league before the upcoming stage but it wasn’t enough to qualify for the playoffs. Acend also benched Aleksander "zeek" Zygmunt a couple of weeks ago due to personal issues and played the last two games with Seymon "purp0" Borchev on the battlefield.
Santeri "BONECOLD" Sassi was one of the first members of the Acend squad alongside Mehmet Yağız "cNed" İpek, Vladyslav "kiles" Shvets and Patryk "starxo" Kopczynski. He was one of the most important pieces of the roster during their VCT 2021 run. Moreover, his contract was extended for another year back in February. The Finnish in-game leader is holding a 0.95 rating and 1.0 K/D since the beginning of his professional career. He will be searching for a new home for the upcoming tournaments.
