Acend have announced today that Vladyslav "kiles" Shvets is moving to the bench. The World Champion has permission to explore all available options.

On March 23, Acend decided to move Santeri "BONECOLD" Sassi on the bench. One of the reasons for this decision may have been Acend's poor performance in the VCT 2022 - EMEA - Stage 1 - Challengers - Main Event, where they were defeated by Guild Esports, Fnatic and BBL Esports. As a result of these defeats, the World Champions did not even advance to the playoffs, which was a huge surprise and disappointment.

With BONECOLD out of the lineup, Acend has decided to make one more roster change. Kiles has also been moved to the bench and has already been given permission to explore all available offers. This is a huge move on the part of Acend, who have decided to bench two players who have been with the team for a year.

For the time being, the future of the two benched players, and Acend's new signings, is unknown. The VCT 2022 - EMEA - Stage 2 - Challengers - Main Event starts in mid-May, so the European team has about 6 weeks to complete their roster.

Now Acend is:

Poland Aleksander "zeek" Zygmunt Poland Patryk "starxo" Kopczynski Turkey Mehmet Yağız "cNed" İpek

Ukraine Vladyslav "kiles" Shvets (Bench) Finland Santeri "BONECOLD" Sassi (Bench) Lithuania Laurynas "Nbs" Kisielius (Coach) Netherlands Milan "Milan" de Meij (Assistant coach)
