After signing Chad "oderus" Miller from Version1, NYFU are looking to finish their roster before the VCT 2022 season. Today the North American organization announced Dayton "Lear" Akau as the fourth player and just a few hours later announced their fifth player, Jonard "Jonaaa6" Penaflor.

On January 12, Andbox announced Oderus’ transfer from Version1, right after Adam "mada" Pampuch’s departure. They are building a new roster in hope to compete internationally in the new season. Andbox’s first transfer move came in the last quarter of 2021, signing Anthony "mummAy" DiPaolo from Envy. Their only transfer in 2022 until today was Oderus, who will be the new IGL of the team.

Lear has played for lots of different teams, starting from 2020 until now. However, only a few of them were professional esports organisations. What makes him a solid pick-up is that Lear has played 62 maps for the past three months. The North American player never stopped competing professionally even in the off-season and he holds a 1.08 rating, 211.8 ACS, and 1.15 K/D. He is known for playing Skye and Reyna a lot lately but he is also a sturdy Sova player.

Jonaaa6 is another player who has involved of a lot of upcoming mix teams that looked promising but went their separate ways but most recently has had short spells with The Mafia and a lot of stand in cameos for teams such as Pittsburgh Knights, Project A and YFP Gaming. The American tends to favor the support role in the form of Astra or Sova, he holds a 1.12 rating, 211.0 ACS, 140 ADR and a 1.19 K/D from the past 3 months, stats that shows he can hold his own even on the support role.

Here is Andbox’ full roster going into VCT 2022:
