AVENUE eSports' Battalion 1944 roster switch to VALORANT
Day by day we are getting to know more organizations that want to invest in the VALORANT teams. Sometimes it’s a group of brand new players, and sometimes it’s a well-known roster that transferred from another game to the Riot Games’ new title. This is what Ninjas in Pyjamas have done several days ago, and now, another European organization has decided to follow their steps.
Located in Belgium, AVENUE eSports is an organization that previously had representation in games like CS:GO and Hearthstone. In 2018 they announced their entrance to the esports scene of Battalion 1994 with a full Czech roster. Over the span of two years, the squad had only one roster shift in the Summer of 2019. From that time, the team that consisted of Petr "cDe" Dumek, Ondřej "louwe" Kolodziej, Ondřej "loony" Kudrna, Adam "Adamelo" Sabol and Daniel "lifeR" Viktorín, that was the latest addition to the squad, was always playing together.
After playing the game competitively for two years, the team had played in a few European leagues as well as international LANs dedicated to Battalion 1944. Since the roster has played together for quite some time, but the game was going nowhere with its esports scene, the organization has decided to allow the players to change their discipline.
As Battalion 1944 might be considered as a niche esports title, the team has a lot of experience and will for sure face way more competition and opponents in their VALORANT journey. Hopefully, they will have more luck now and more esports fans will be able to get to know about these talented Czech players.
