Today via social media, FunPlus Phoenix announced that a former NOM eSports player, Kamil "baddyG" Graniczka has joined the European team as a substitute.

The young Pole has joined FPX as a substitute. Due to the current crisis situation in Ukraine, Kirill "ANGE1" Karasiow’s situation is precarious, so baddyG could replace him or any of his teammates if needed. Previously he competed in the VCT 2021 - Stage 1 - Europe Masters for Ballista Esports. Recently baddyG was a member of NOM eSports’s, but after failing to qualify for the VRL - Eastern Europe: Surge - Stage 1 - Main Event, the team disbanded.

Perhaps young Pole will make his debut in new colors in this VCT 2022 EMEA Challengers season. FPX's next opponent is scheduled to be Team Liquid, but the team coached by Erik "d00mbr0s" Sandgren may have to play two games this coming weekend as their 4th round match has been postponed due to the current situation in Ukraine.

Now FunPlus Phoenix is:

Ukraine Kirill "ANGE1" Karasiow Sweden Pontus "Zyppan" Eek Russian Federation Andrey "Shao" Kiprsky Russian Federation Dmitry "SUYGETSU" Ilyushin Latvia Ardis "ardiis" Svarenieks

Poland Kamil "baddyG" Graniczka (Sub) Sweden Erik "d00mbr0s" Sandgren (Coach)
