Cloud9 release vice

Cloud9 have announced the release of Daniel "vice" Kim.

vice was part of the very original Cloud9 roster, having played with them since June 2020 and having been signed since August. Swapping between a number of different supporting roles, such as Cypher, Breach, and Sova, early results were pretty good for Cloud9, culminating in a second-place finish at PAX Arena VALORANT Invitational and an early First Strike win in the First Strike North America - NSG Tournament - Open Qualifier. However, Cloud9 Blue would go on to fail to qualify for First Strike, and with the departure of Tyson "TenZ" Ngo, would fall even further down the charts. Cloud9 Blue failed to qualify for a single Challengers event in VCT Stage 1.

In their most recent event, the Nerd Street Gamers Nerd Street Gamers Monthly - March Open Qualifier, Cloud9 Blue were already playing without him, putting Son "xeta" Seon-ho on Breach and Sova while giving full-time Jett duties to Michael "poiz" Possis. It remains to be seen whether they’ll continue with that setup or look for a larger roster overhaul.
