Complexity announce their entry into VALORANT

Written By    Germanicus  -  share on

Complexity Gaming is an American organization that is known for its history and success in Counter-Strike. Over the years, they’ve become one of the scene’s preeminent organizations, leading to a slow expansion into other titles. But what could make more sense for an organization so steeped in tactical shooters than investment in the newest thing on the market, VALORANT? Over the last few days, that is what Complexity have teased and now announced.

Complexity have signed Riley “Ohai” Nguyen, Mike “AGM” Abood, Corbin “C0M” Lee, Cody “Frisco” Day, and David “Xp3” Garrido to their roster. Every player comes from Counter-Strike, AGM, C0M, and Xp3 being the most successful of the bunch. AGM has played for organizations like Luminosity Gaming and Third Impact, and C0M for Mythic. Xp3 participated in ESL Pro League seasons 1 and 3 with Elevate and Winterfox respectively.

In VALORANT, Ohai, AGM, and Frisco have been playing together in several weekly events, including ones hosted by Nerd Street Gamers and UMG Gaming. They won the UMG Gaming Tournament North America #4 under the name milk and bananas. C0M played in the Twitch Rivals: VALORANT Launch Showdown - NA with Team fl0m, finishing second in group C, while Xp3, in addition to helping coach Dignitas in both CS:GO and VALORANT, has participated in a few events as a part of Trees Money Crew and Intensity.

It is fantastic to see another Tier 1 organization getting involved in VALORANT. While this roster doesn’t exactly feature many big names, highly successful teams like Immortals and Gen.G Esports didn’t have any either when they announced their rosters. Complexity will be making their debut in PAX Arena VALORANT Invitational, so be sure to tune in to watch them!

Complexity are:
