doma moved to inactive roster by FNATIC

Following the announcement of the EMEA VCT 2022 structure yesterday, many teams have been introducing changes to their roster, and Fnatic is no exception. The EMEA giants just announced that Domagoj  "Doma" Fancev has been moved to the team’s inactive roster.

According to the blog announcement, this decision was a result of FNATIC seeking a new direction after “a year of highs, lows & conflicted VCT results” including their most recent loss at the Quarter Finals against the LATAM underdogs KRÜ Esports.

Doma became a member of FNATIC after it acquired SUMN FC's roster earlier this year. After settling into the new organization, Doma helped FNATIC to its first title at VCT Europe Stage 2 Challengers 2. and a second-place at VCT 2021 - Stage 2 - Masters Reykjavík, VALORANT's first international event after losing the Grand Final in a close battle against Sentinels.

However, after their run at Masters Reykjavik, they’ve had difficulties maintaining a consistent form as demonstrated throughout the entirety of Stage 3 and failing to qualify for VCT 2021 - Stage 3 - Masters Berlin - Playoffs. With this move being made official, Doma will be placed on the open transfer market, where he can trial for other teams.

After the latest announcement, Fnatic’s roster is as follows: Jake "Boaster" Howlett James "Mistic" Orfila Martin  "MAGNUM" Penkov Nikita "Derke" Sirmitev

Before we conclude, it is worth mentioning that the blog announcing this change also stated, “This is the first of a variety of changes we will take in order to create a lineup that will see as much success as possible come next season.” meaning that more changes might come in the near future be it roster moves or coaches/analysts changes.
