fastPay Wildcats announce a VALORANT squad
While most of the players are watching the streams and hoping for the drop of the VALORANT beta access, a Turkey-based organization fastPay Wildcats (previously known as İstanbul Wildcats) has announced a freshly established team to compete in the new Riot Game’s first-person shooter title.
The squad will consist of players with experience from other FPS games with the majority of them coming from the domestic country of the organization. The players will be Ömer “Aufdra1n” Can who competed in CS:GO, as well as Ahmet “Simpson” Yüksel, Berkay “Sibe3n” Akkaya and Alper “Mpia2k” Yılmaz who all tried their chances in Black Squad. Living in the Netherlands with Turkish roots, Rahmi “Dokkii” Akalın is the last member of the team, known for his participation in both Zula and Apex Legends tournaments.
fastPay Wildcats is another organization after Begrip Gaming and Absolute JUPITER to gather together players who had previous history in FPS games. Even though the achievements of the members of the Turkish squad are not as impressive as Absolute JUPITER’s for example, it should not give them much of a disadvantage. After all, it’s a test for everyone right now with it being only the beginning of the VALORANT beta launch. Those who will be able to transit their skill and experience to the new game and quickly mix it with the knowledge of Riot’s new title might be put in a better position once the esports scene will be ready to start.
