After scrimming with FaZe Clan for a number of weeks, the organization has finally announced that Hunter "BabyJ" Schline will be called upon. He will be replacing Jimmy "Marved" Nguyen, who was reportedly removed from Faze's roster in early June.

BabyJ is known by many in the VALORANT scene for his superb Cypher and Killjoy play, as he makes both agents look effortless. The 22 year old previously played for Prospects, and most recently the free agent roster known as rice and meatballs. During that event they managed to take down rosters that were signed to organizations, proving their own worth. In his career, BabyJ has an ACS of 204 and a rating of .94, which are excellent numbers for a Sentinel player.

Faze will be looking to reclaim their spot in the upper echelon of Valorant after failing to qualify for Masters 2. During their VCT 2021 - Stage 1 - North America Masters run, they took down many of the elite teams, finishing second in the event to arguably the best team in North America, Sentinels. With this signing, it's unknown who will become the IGL for Faze, however signs point to Zachary "ZachaREEE" Lombardo taking over the role of calling strategies for the team.

With this acquisition, Faze Clan is now:

United States Corey “corey” Nigra United States Zachary “ZachaREEE” Lombardo United States Andrej “babybay” Francisty United States Shane “Rawkus” Flaherty United States Hunter "BabyJ" Schline

Canada Thomas "Trippy" Schappy (coach)
