Due to visa issues, FPX’s Dmitry "SUYGETSU" Ilyushin couldn’t participate in the tournament, and Mathias  "SEIDER" Seider subbed in for him. XERXIA picked Bind as the opening map of the tournament for them and made a great start by winning the pistol round. Nutchapon "sScary" Matarat’s 3-kill Viper opened the gate for them as they also grabbed the second round despite losing all the members, thanks to the bomb. FunPlus Phoenix’s defensive efforts were better in the upcoming 3-round span but XERXIA were not there to give up that easily. The first half went on with both teams securing consecutive rounds and in the end, XERXIA led the game on the attacking side, 7-5. Ardis "ardiis" Svarenieks’s 12- kill KAY/O kept them in the game. The second half started with FPX’s dominance but XERXIA answered back very quickly. As they also won the do-or-die round, the second half also ended 7-5 and we watched 2 overtime rounds. FunPlus Phoenix played the overtime greatly and closed out the first map, 14-12. Kirill "ANGE1" Karasiow joined ardiis on the scoreboard and the duo grabbed 40 kills.

FPX’s map pick was Ascent to sweep their opponents. The CIS representatives had the advantage as it was time for their map pick and they had the opportunity to win the series after winning Ascent. They started strongly with a great effort in the pistol round. However, XERXIA had great performances on the defensive side as they won 7 rounds in the first half whereas FPX’s attack granted them 5 wins. Panyawat "sushiboys" Subsiriroj’s Killjoy stepped up at that point and grabbed 12 kills. FPX made another strong start in the second half but XERXIA’s answer was also strong. The APAC team had a great attacking turn and grabbed 6 rounds in the second half to win the map, 13-9. Thanachart "Surf" Rungarphajaratsakul’s 23-kill Jett was very dominant as he also secured 7 first bloods, 4 on the attacking side.

The last map in the first game of the day was Haven. XERXIA won the pistol round but surprisingly, FunPlus Phoenix picked up an important win in the second round with a weak economy and they held a 4-round winning streak. The CIS team won 7 rounds on defense with Pontus "Zyppan" Eek and Ardis "ardiis" Svarenieks stepping up with 16 and 15 kills respectively. XERXIA’s surf only had 5 kills and a 0.54 rating which was one of the biggest reasons they fell behind. FPX’s dominance continued in the second half as they won the map in 11 second-half rounds, 13-10. Zyppan and ardiis finished the map with 24 and 22 kills while the Latvian Chamber also held a 1.42 rating. Despite competing without one of the most important pieces of the roster, FPX still put their hearts out to face DRX VS in the Winners Match of Group B.

KRÜ’s map pick for the series was Bind. The LATAM organization won the pistol round thanks to Juan Pablo "NagZet" Lopez and Joaquín "delz1k" Espinoza as they grabbed all the kills. Guild Esports got back in the game by winning three rounds in a row. Their supremacy continued in the first half as they won 7 rounds whereas KRÜ got 5 on the attacking side. Saif "Sayf" Jibraeel’s Skye performance came in handy for Guild, holding a 1.23 rating and securing 12 kills. KRÜ started the second half with another pistol-round win. The game was very close until the LATAM representatives’ 4-round winning streak started after the 20th round. Guild still managed to win the 24th round to force overtime but their efforts could not go beyond that. KRÜ Esports won both overtime rounds and started the series with an important win on Bind. Leo "Leo" Jannesson did his best with a 1.56 rating and 28 kills on Fade but it was not enough.

Guild Esports picked Fracture as the second map of the series. Their pick for yesterday was Icebox but today they decided to do something different. The European representatives conquered the map on the attacking side from the beginning until the very end. KRÜ only grabbed three rounds on defense and Guild had 9 in the end. Three players on the European team had 12 kills at the end of the first half. Despite winning the pistol round of the second half, Guild won the game quickly and forced another map in the series, 13-6.

The deciding map of the series was Icebox. KRÜ Esports managed to take down LOUD yesterday on Icebox and Guild won against OpTic Gaming. Both teams looked decent on the map and it was time for them to collide. The first half was very close as expected. KRÜ Esports completed defense winning 7 rounds and Guild had 5 at the end. Juan Pablo "NagZet" Lopez’s 16-kill Chamber performance was matched by Nikita "trexx" Cherednichenko’s KAY/O but the LATAM team had the lead on the scoreboard. However, Guild managed to catch their opponents in the second half by forcing overtime to qualify for the playoffs. Leo played great to keep his team in the team and eventually win the map to qualify for the playoffs. After three overtime turns, Guild Esports took KRÜ down with a score of 16-14. The Russian player, trexx, finished the map with 31 kills to his name.
