It is safe to say that 100 Thieves’ VALORANT roster has experienced everything there is to the esports world, from building a team to rebuilding after disappointing results. 100 Thieves’ squad now only boasts Spencer "Hiko" Martin and Nicholas "nitr0" Cannella, two legendary Counter-Strike: Global Offensive players who know each other very well from their time on Team Liquid. During one of Hiko’s recent YouTube videos, he welcomed nitr0 into the squad, and discussed what is going to happen next.

Hiko started talking about the rebuilding of 100 Thieves’ VALORANT roster, revolving purely around him and nitr0 as the centerpieces. He continued to clarify their positions in the team, making it clear that they are not looking at a managerial role in the squad. It is worth mentioning that Hiko has been rather unfortunate throughout his career in both Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and VALORANT. He was always part of promising teams oozing with talent, but fell short of achieving success.

However, it looks like the organization’s owner and founder Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag is keeping his promise, giving more authority to Hiko and nitr0 on deciding who will join them next to shape up the 100 Thieves’ roster. This will help both players in creating the team they believe can win the organization trophies on the long run.

“We recruited nitr0. As of now, the team is just nitr0 and I. And 100 Thieves decided to rebuild the roster around me and nitr0. So if you don’t know who nitr0 is, he is my old teammate from Liquid. One of my very long friends, I have always liked nitr0.”

“We’re not the managers, we’re not the GMs and nor do we want to be. But I know that they’re going to be giving us a lot of say and a lot of time and space to figure out exactly who we want to play with, and exactly what the roster will be looking like from here on now,” Hiko said.

Although it has been over a week so far with no news on who will join them, they are definitely going to be a squad to keep your eyes on. 100 Thieves are not participating in the upcoming Pop Flash VALORANT Invitational, which gives them more time to pick and choose the missing pieces of their team. Considering this is officially the final Ignition Series event for North America, we will have to wait and see what Riot Games have in store for VALORANT esports in the future.
