Just weeks after announcing that Jonah "JonahP" Pulice would round out their roster, Immortals have decided to make another change to their team. This time around, young star Robert "truo" Pham will be coming in. There is no official word on who he will be replacing.
According to the report via Upcomer, he will be transitioning to the Sentinel role. Across the VALORANT scene, Immortals has been known for their impressive scouting, often signing lesser known players that show up in big tournaments. They're hoping that truo will continue that tradition.
Known for his time in the Semi-pro Valorant scene under Frag Ya Bag, truo showcased his ability to play the duelist role at a level above his competition. During the NSG Summer Champs- May Qualifier, he played Reyna and Jett, and in 9 maps he finished above 20 kills in all but two, including an impressive 39 kills during the group stages. Outside of the professional scene, he also represented Team Canada under the BTR banner where the rest of that team won the Red Bull Campus Clutch - North America Finals. After winning that, truo and the rest of the roster will travel to Spain in July to compete in the Grand Finals against teams from 12 different countries. Joining Immortals will be somewhat of a reunion for truo and Daniel "Rossy" Abedrabbo, as they previously played together under Frick Ya Bag.
With this change, Immortals will now be:
Amgalan "Genghsta" Nemekhbayar Andrew "ShoT_UP" Orlowski Robert "truo" Pham Daniel "Rossy" Abedrabbo Jonah "JonahP" Pulice Rhett “Kehmicals” Lynch
