Ayaz "nAts" Akhmetshin amongst other former Gambit players have announced that they are no longer under the contract of Gambit Esports and will be Free Agents moving forward. Furthermore, Yaroslav "Jady" Nikolaev will be joining the roster to replace Nikita "d3ffo" Sudakov and Seymon "purp0" Borchev will be their 6th member.

When tensions between Ukraine and Russia were at an all-time high, Gambit Esports, had their matches at VCT 2022 - EMEA - Stage 1 - Challengers - Main Event postponed and to avoid suspension from such tournaments they allowed their roster to partake in the tournament as an independent team. However, the contracts between the players and the organization remained intact and the solution was supposed to be only temporary. Using this opportunity to their advantage, the roster competed at VCT 2022 - EMEA - Stage 2 - Challengers - Main Event and VCT 2022 - EMEA - Stage 1 - Challengers - Main Event under the M3 Champions name but couldn’t finish any better than a 4th place.

As we stand less than 24 hours from VCT 2022 - EMEA Last Chance Qualifier, nAts took the charge in announcing the recent development. Alongside parting ways with Gambit Esports for good, the introduction of Jady and Purp0 to the team are also substantial. Jady played for NAVI for a few months before his release on May 10 and had since been on a temporary break since May for mental health issues. D3ffo has been struggling to perform during recent events with an underwhelming 176 ACS and 116 ADR in the last three months. Purp0 was a member of XPLDZ competing in the VRL Regional Leagues on a high level and boasting a 1.34 Rating on 279 ACS over the last three months.

M3 Champions’ roster for the upcoming EMEA LCQ is as follows:

Russian Federation Ayaz "nAts" Akhmetshin Russian Federation Timofey "Chronicle" Khromov Russian Federation Bogdan "sheydos" Naumov Russian Federation Igor "Redgar" Vlasov Russian Federation Yaroslav "Jady" Nikolaev Russian Federation Seymon "purp0" Borchev

Russian Federation Vladimir "Kayos" Ivanov (Manager) Russian Federation Andre "ENGH" Sholokhov (Coach)
