James "Mistic" Orfila has just announced via his Twitter account that Fnatic have now decided to allow him to explore new options in the EMEA region until the VCT 2023 season officially kicks off. Mistic intends to join a partnered team to further the career he has established over the past two years. The 20-year-old British player praised her team members and the organization for their continuing support.

"Whether or not my journey continues at Fnatic, I am either way super proud of what we were able to produce over the past few years. Not only am I thankful for representing one of the best VALORANT teams in the world I am also thankful for the friends and family I have met with it. For my future I am looking to continue to put in that hard work, I’m not stopping anytime soon. Trophies is what’s on my mind and no matter what challenges arise I’ll tackle them with all I got. To 2023 and a bright future. Thanks for the endless amount of support.''

Mistic went on to say for his future that he will be trying to deliver his best to help his team reach trophies. As a former Fortnite player, Mistic made an impressive debut to his professional career with the European organization SUMN FC, which was acquired by Fnatic in February 2021. Then he put a great showing during his tenure at Fnatic by participating in three Masters and two Champions tournaments, including VCT 2022 - Champions Istanbul. The beloved player is now seeking new opportunities to start over while he is still young.

As for his stats over the last two years, Mistic played with a 1.11 KD score alongside a 1.00 rating. In 60% of their games, he picked Brimstone and Skye, with KAY/O coming in second with 139 rounds played, representing 20% of all the games.

It is worth stating that Mistic's contract with Fnatic is not terminated at the time of writing. Until he finds a new destination heading to the VCT 2023, Mistic will remain as part of the lineup. Whether or not he will sign to another organization remains to be seen. There are currently four active players on Fnatic's starting lineup:

Finland Nikita "Derke" Sirmitev United Kingdom Jake "Boaster" Howlett France Enzo "Enzo" Mestari Turkey Emir "Alfajer" Ali Beder
