In another announcement right after the news that steel was transferred to T1, today 100 Thieves confirmed that Nicholas "nitr0" Cannella will be leaving the team as well. Rumors within the communities are that the player will make a return back to CS:GO.

In the last event they participated in, VCT 2021 - North America Last Chance Qualifier, the North American organisation has struggled to win it after loosing against Rise and Cloud9 respectively with the consequence of failing to qualify for this year’s VCT Champions. During the tournament, nitr0 played mostly Jett instead of the controller role he frequently picked before but the team still failed to obtain their objective. When Nicholas had joined the team back in August 2020, Hiko and him started building a roster that had a great impact immediately including winning the First Strike North America Regional Final. In 2021 though the team failed to make any big impact during the VALORANT Champions Tour as they ended 5th-6th in VCT 2021 - Stage 1 - North America Masters, same place in VCT 2021 - Stage 2 - North America - Challengers Finals which meant no qualification to Masters Reykjavik and even though they managed to make it to Masters Berlin, they were eliminated in the Semi Finals against region rivals Envy.

Even though the team already have the youngster seven signed as a substitute, rumours are that the organisation will still be looking around for new players while seven might look for other opportunities due to the lack of playing after he joined the team.

With this change 100 Thieves are now: Spencer "Hiko" Martin Peter "Asuna" Mazuryk Ethan "Ethan" Arnold Johann "seven" Hernandez (substitute) Jovanni "Jovi" Vera (analyst)
