The Turkish organisation BBL Esports has confirmed the signing of prodigy Turkish player Melih "pAura" Karaduran confirming his stay with a full Turkish roster after his experience with SuperMassive Blaze.
Melih is one of the highest profiles in the Turkish scene having won multiple events throughout his career already and also participated in VCT 2021 - Stage 3 - Masters Berlin - Group Stage, one of the three LAN events held in 2021 by Riot Games. The first major team that pAura had an impact with was Team Heretics in which they won various events in 2020 including First Strike Europe Regional Final. In 2021, with VCT announced, the team started with a good result, ending 2nd in VCT 2021 - Stage 1 - Europe Masters after losing the Grand Final to Acend in a tight match with the score of 3-2. After Stage 1 unfortunately the team started to fall out and with disappointing results in Stage 2, pAura switched sides to a full Turkish new roster with Supermassive Blaze.
With similar results to before, pAura had a great start with the team as they managed to win VCT 2021 - Stage 3 - Turkey - Challengers 1 which resulted in qualifying to the EMEA Stage 3 Challengers Finals with 4 tickets available for Masters Berlin. In Challengers Finals, Supermassive Blaze ended 2nd after a great run through the Upper Bracket only losing the Grand Final against Gambit Esports, eventual winners of Masters Berlin as well. Unfortunately in Berlin, the Turkish side didn't have an impressive run as they didn't make it out of their group after losing to Acend twice and eliminating Paper Rex in the process. The Turkish side participated also in the EMEA LCQ with a spot available for the VALORANT Champions event but they failed to win it as they got eliminated by Futbolist in the lower bracket with a 2-1 score.
In total pAura has already won over $25,000 throughout his career and will definitely be looking to add more with his new team.
