Riot Games addresses hit registration issues in VALORANT
Among all the cool announcements regarding release dates, maps, agents, and pro teams, it can be easy to forget about the smaller things that make a game great. Riot has not forgotten, and to this end, they’re taking steps to address the hit registration issues that have been noticed by some players.
The issues have been flooding social media for the past week, but the developers have responded well to the feedback. According to the official VALORANT twitter, the issues particularly affect players with lower framerates. Along with some of the movement changes and issues with blood and spark animations, the problem was compounded.
As the release date for VALORANT was unveiled, some people wondered whether the issues would be fixed in a patch before the full release or on release. VALORANT executive producer Anna “SuperCakes” Donlon clarified this, saying the fixes will be shipped on the June 2nd release date.
This is an issue some players feel is holding the game back, and being overlooked as it heads towards release. What are your thoughts on this issue?
