After originally including Breeze in the Masters 2 event in Reykjavik, Iceland, Riot has made the decision to remove it from the competitive map pool.

When the decision to include the new map was announced, the prevailing opinion was that is was a poor idea. With teams only having around four weeks until the event, some, such as Brazilian and LATAM teams, even less, it was always going to be very awkward to see play out. So ultimately, this comes as a great move from a competitive standpoint, especially seeing as currently the map can only be played in Unrated form.

With this removal of Breeze, the pool for Reykjavik will continue to be Bind, Split, Icebox, Haven, Ascent. Without a new map we will likely continue to see the same bans and picks we saw during the qualifier, with some changes based on regions playing some maps differently.
