Team Queso introduce new roster for Spain Challengers

Team Queso have announced their new roster for VCT 2023 Challengers League Spain: Rising Split 1. The organization decided to keep UNFAKE within the team and sign four new very talented players. lowel, H1ber, PoPiFresH, and neptuNo are the remaining pieces of the roster. THINKII and Yaba are the coaches.

Last season, Team Queso tried to get to the VCT 2022 Europe Stage 1 Challengers but got eliminated after losing to Wave Esports. The organization joined the VRL 2022 Spain Rising tournament and spent the season competing against other regional teams. Queso placed 5th-6th in the first stage and 7th in the second stage, failing to qualify for playoffs throughout the season. They decided to go for a rebuild a sign a competitive roster for the 2023 season.

UNFAKE is the only player who will be staying with Team Queso. We saw him playing Sova for the most matches last year. lowel has joined the organization after spending two years at Team Heretics. PoPiFresH was his teammate at Heretics and the duo played in the VRL 2022 Spain Rising league together. neptuNo played for KOI last year and parteed ways with the team after KOI’s partnership announcement. Lastly, H1ber will be the last piece of the roster who also played for KOI. H1ber also played for Fnatic as a stand-in and reached the VRL 2022 Finals with Team Vitality. He holds the best rating in the team with 1.18.
