TENSTAR Nova got the better of Rix.GG Lightning in the grand finals of the inaugural VCT Game Changers EMEA season. The newly signed all-French roster took the exciting best of 5 series in a commanding 3-1 fashion.

The two teams had only met once before at Women in Games - Community Cup, where Rix.GG Lightning dominated in a best of 1 on Icebox. Tenstar Nova subsequently avoided the map this time around, winning convincingly on Ascent, Haven, and Breeze, while only dropping Bind in a nail-biting 16-18 loss. The win also increased the French squad’s winning streak up to six, their last loss being at the aforementioned Women in Games - Community Cup final earlier this month.

Mathilde "Nelo" Beltoise was on her A game in the grand final, racking up not only 85 kills but also posting 25 multi-kill rounds over the four maps, while Clara "Cla" Rossi, primarily on Raze, was not far behind with 81 frags. Paige "Padge" Thomas was seemingly the only player to put up serious resistance on the Rix.GG side, with the Brit bagging 81 kills and a 266 ACS.

The next event in VCT Game Changers, VCT Game Changers EMEA - All In, has also been announced today. The tournament will feature mixed teams with a minimum of 3 female players and will run from October 25th to October 31st. We will no doubt see Tenstar Nova and Rix.GG Lightning there and will be looking forward to watching the two squads evolve going forward.

A few hours later after the EMEA grand final, it was time for the North American Game Changers grand final which included the favorites Cloud9 White against Shopify Rebellion Female. Cloud9 White didn't disappoint their expectations and took the win 3-1 on Icebox, Ascent and Bind after they lost Haven in a close scoreline of 13-11. In fact, that was the only map they lost through out Series 3 including the Open Qualifiers. During the double elimination bracket final stage of Series 3, Jasmine "Jazzyk1ns" Manankil from Cloud9 White had the best performance throughout having impressing numbers including 1.48 Rating, 294 ACS and a 1.65 K/D
