TenZ to play with Sentinels until the end of Challengers Finals

Written By    Germanicus  -  share on

Sentinels have announced that Tyson "TenZ" Ngo will continue to play with the team until the conclusion of Challengers Finals.

TenZ has found big success with Sentinels, winning Masters, though they lost to Built By Gamers in the very next event and would fail to make Stage 2 Challengers 1. As he's still a member of Cloud9, TenZ playing with Sentinels is all under the conditions the two organizations have worked out. With a buyout for TenZ being reported to be in the millions of dollars, Sentinels have so far just opted to loan the player while the investigation into Jay "sinatraa" Won is ongoing. That continues here, with things extended to the end of the Masters Reykjavik qualifying event. It's unknown what will happen if Sentinels qualify for the big international event, though another costly loan is probably likely.

The roster is still stacked, but Sentinels now have to get their money's worth out of what has all in all been a very costly but also very successful ordeal. The first step is making it through the next open qualifier bracket this time, which begins on April 15th.

Sentinels are now:

Shahzeb "ShahZaM" Khan Hunter "SicK" Mims Jared "zombs" Gitlin Michael "dapr" Gulino Tyson "TenZ" Ngo

Jay "sinatraa" Won (Inactive)

Nice! I'm pretty sure If they qualify to LAN they will extend his loan.

Tenz was supposed to be for only masters 1 them extending him is bad for riot short term and SEN long term.

For Sentinels, if they keep finding success and decide to buy him outright they'll end up paying way more for him (because they loaned him and then bought him) than if they just bought him right away. Riot not sure.

True, but I mean in the end If It's going so well for them with TenZ and it is going well I think If they can qualify for the LAN and I'm sure they will with tenz and then decide to extend his loan so he can be in the LAN and Imagine they WIN the LAN with TenZ Obviously then they will even want to go ahead and buy him out and of course it will be very pricey but It might be worth it? I guess because they can probably work out on a price with C9 It will still be very high but not too high.

If SEN wins the LAN with TenZ, TenZ's buyout would more than likely increase a ton in comparison to right now. If I were SEN, either buy TenZ now before his buyout gets any higher or find a permanent replacement so you can start getting more time in practicing with a permanent member of your team rather than with a loan player.

do you know what he is accused of?

Key word being accused. I'll reserve my judgement for now because I still believe in innocent until proven guilty. I can accuse you of the same thing right now...

That being said, if it's proven to be true he deserves all the punitive action that falls upon him.

but if they are being accused, it is still bad enough.
