With franchising limiting the participation opportunities to only five teams in the NA region, several organizations had to part ways with their roster including some of the biggest names in the Valorant scene. All the following players have declared Free Agency following Riot’s announcement:

Thursday 22nd September

13:19 PT: With FaZe not being allowed in th Partner Program, their roster too has started individually releasing details about entering Free Agency. If this trend continues Andrej "babybay" Francisty, Quan "dicey" Tran, Phat "supamen" Le, Kevin "POISED" Ngo, and Xavier "flyuh" Carison will be available.

10:05 PT: Official word from XSET twitter confirms that the entire roster has been allowed to explore their options as the future of Valorant seems unclear. Players that have entered Free Agency from the team include Jordan "AYRIN" He, Brendan "BcJ" Jensen, Zachary "zekken" Patrone, Matthew "Cryocells" Panganiban, Rory "dephh" Jackson

09:59 PT: Albeit a lesser known team to its counterparts in the region, TSM FTX have also decided to allow their players to look for options. This will include Mohammed "Harmful" Choudhary, Timothy "ZK" Ly, Anthony "venture" Ziade, Christopher "Rebo" Heindel and Tyler "sym" Porter.

09:24 PT: Sentinels have also entered the Partner Program but have decided to introduce changes to their roster. Since Eric "Kanpeki" Xu had his contract expired, Sentinels decided against renewing it allowing him to explore his options elsewhere.

08:32 PT: Despite being selected for the Valorant partner program, both Mitch "mitch" Semago and Rahul "curry" Nemani have declared themselves as restricted Free Agents with Cloud9 looking towards new options to replace them.

Wednesday 21st September

20:00 PT: All remaining OpTic Gaming players, Jaccob "yay" Whitaker; Jimmy "Marved" Nguyen; Pujan "FNS" Mehta, and head coach Chet "Chet" Singh have also been allowed to look for new opportunities while staying under contract.

14:02 PT: Version1 have announced that they will be releasing their Players as restricted Free Agents if they wish to compete in any of the Franchised teams. Prior to this announcement, Version1 roster included the following players: Erik "penny" Penny, Loic "effys" Sauvageau, Maxim "wippie" Shepelev, Alexander "Zander" Dituri, Jordan "Zellsis" Montemurro, Ian "Immi" Harding (Coach).

13:08 PT: On the Brazilian side of things, Ninjas in Pyjamas failed to make the Partner Program; therefore, has allowed their roster to look for options. With this announcement Alexandre "xand" Zizi, Gabriel "bezn1" Luiz da Costa, Cauan "cauanzin" Pereira, Walney "Jonn" Reis, Gabriel "v1xen" Martins and Jonathan "JhoW" Glória are all part of Free Agency.

07:27 PT: Austin "crashies" Roberts and Victor "Victor" Wong have declared themselves as unrestricted Free Agents considering their contract expired earlier this month and OpTic was not selected for the Valorant Partner Program.

For now these players have released their plan of action for the future, while other teams are still hesitant for the time being. However, the next few days will probably see more organizations following the same trend with a ton of players entering Free Agency.

We will be routinely updating this piece to factor in more Free Agency updates, so be sure to stay tuned at THESPIKE.GG
