It has only been a week since the departure of Matthew "WARDELL" Yu that yet another member of TSM has announced their separation and its none other than Aleko "LeviathanAG" Gabuniya himself.

Aleko, formerly known as LeviathanAG, was introduced to the roster in July 2021, just days before VCT 2021 - Stage 3 - North America - Challengers 2 - Open Qualifier and has contributed to the team’s limited success in following events including a 1st place at VCT 2021 - Stage 3 - North America - Challengers 2. Unfortunately, the teams VCT run ended with the Stage 3 playoffs due to their inability to stack enough circuit points for VCT 2021 - North America Last Chance Qualifier. His performance extended his stay past the off-season where several teams made efforts to revamp their roster.

In the off-season, the roster decided to bench Sean "bang" Bezerra, as well as James "hazed" Cobb who was acquired by NRG Esports. Replacing them in the TSM FTX roster were Corey "corey" Nigra and Daniel "Rossy" Abedrabbo. These changes were made in hopes of a long and successful VCT run. However, to their fans’ dismay, the roster couldn’t manage a better finish than 7th-8th place in either of the two Open Qualifiers, eliminating them from participation in the Challengers event and nullified their chances of earning a spot at VCT 2022 - Stage 1 - Masters Reykjavík. Nonetheless, the team continued to participate in regional tournaments and managed to secure the 1st place at Pittsburgh Knights Monthly Gauntlet 2022 - February and YFP Winter Classic.

Throughout his time in TSM FTX, Aleko has been quite impactful as a Sova, boasting a 1.11 rating and 206 ACS overall. More recently, however, he has been spotted using Brimstone quite often entirely replacing the occasional use of Viper he previously had. As the tweet suggests, Aleko will remain under the contract of TSM FTX while being allowed to search for opportunities. Given his performance and profound knowledge of the team, his chances of being signed look good especially with teams looking to introduce changes before the VCT Stage 2.

With this announcement, the TSM FTX roster is as follows:

Canada Yassine "Subroza" Taoufik United States Corey "corey" Nigra United States Daniel "Rossy" Abedrabbo

United States Soto (Assistant Coach) United States Preston "Juv3nile" Dornon (Head Coach) United States Austin "SmaK" Haggett (Team Manager)
