VCT 2022 Stage 1 - Masters Reykjavik groups and initial matchups announced
Riot Games have announced today the teams in each group and their opening matches at VCT 2022 - Stage 1 - Masters Reykjavík.
The event will begin with a GSL format of two groups of four teams each, of which only two will make it to the playoffs. Here are the teams in their respective groups:
Group A: Fnatic, Ninjas in Pyjamas, DRX, ZETA DIVISION
Group B: OpTic Gaming, XERXIA, KRÜ Esports, Team Liquid
The following will be the opening matches of each team:

The two teams that make it out of each group will face the top seeded teams from each region, namely G2 Esports, The Guard, Paper Rex, and LOUD, in an eight-team double elimination playoff bracket.
Masters Reykjavik is set to begin on April 10th at 8:00 AM PDT and will be broadcasted live at the official VALORANT Twitch channel.
