As a collector, you’ll need a card rips online site to open trading card packs digitally. These sites let collectors watch their packs being opened live or on demand. Some of our recommendations include Packs.com, Rips by Triumph, and OpenThatPack.
We came up with our top 10 ripping sites after looking at their security, customer support, payment options, and other features. If a site met our standards in these areas, we were comfortable recommending it for buying and ripping trading card packs online. Read our mini reviews below to see what each site has to offer.
A card rips site allows collectors to buy and rip sealed trading card items, including booster packs, booster boxes, hobby boxes, and more. Once you make a purchase, the site opens the item on camera through a livestream or blockchain technology to record ownership or transactions. This helps you to know the packs were opened fairly and that the results weren’t switched.
As a collector, you can keep your cards in the site’s vault or have them shipped whenever you’re ready. Some sites also let you sell your cards back through their marketplace. Note that not every ripping site ships physical cards – some are digital-only. However, these differ from the ones we’re recommending later in this guide.
Plus, some sites offer group card breaks, which work a little differently from rips. In a group break, several collectors join forces to pay for a specific pack, team, player, or another break format. For example, in a Pokémon booster box pack break, if you buy Pack 10, you’ll receive the cards from Pack 10 when it’s opened during the break. Now, let’s take a look at how card ripping sites works.

To rip packs online, you’ll need to find a reputable card rips site. It’s also best to avoid buying from unknown rippers on livestream platforms such as TikTok Live, Whatnot, or eBay. If something goes wrong, you could end up dealing with switched cards, missing shipments, or limited customer support.
After finding an established site, sign up and deposit to buy a pack, box, or a spot in a break. Some sites may also offer a welcome bonus after you register or make your first deposit. Our recommended sites only accept collectors who are at least 18 years old.
After securing your pack, box, or spot in a break, the ripping site will let you watch the opening live or on demand to see which cards are pulled.
Once your cards have been pulled, you can have them shipped to you or keep them in the site’s vault until you’re ready to have them delivered. You can also sell them to another collector or back to the site.
Before we review our best card rips sites, here’s a table comparing each site’s welcome bonus, collectible card game (CCG), top features, and app availability.

Rips by Triumph features Pokémon and One Piece Collectible Card Games (CCGs). Its packs come with a 100% buyback guarantee. Plus, there are several pack options to choose from, including Starter Pack, Basic Pack, Signature Pack, Bronze Pack, Silver Pack, Gold Pack, Sapphire Pack, Amethyst Pack, Ruby Pack, and Diamond Pack.
Depending on the pack you select, you can pull cards starting from $0.10, with top hits exceeding $84,000. When we checked the Pokémon Starter Pack, we found cards such as Cubchoo, Tynamo, Milcery, and many more.
The main drawback of Rips by Triumph is that it currently supports only Pokémon and One Piece. Plus, there’s no welcome bonus for new collectors.
However, the site is a great choice for beginners due to its affordable pack prices. You can rip a Pokémon pack for as little as $1. If you’re looking to chase cards like Vaporeon Holo, Shining Gyarados Holo, or Pikachu, the Pokémon Diamond Pack allows you to pull them.
If you’re a big Pokémon fan, then Packz.io is a site you may want to check out. During our review, we found Pokémon Starter Pack, Trainer Pack, Gym Pack, Arena Pack, Shiny Pack, and Champion Pack. Looking at the leaderboard of the top card pulls, we noticed that one collector had pulled the 2016 Pokémon Japanese XY Promo #296 FA/Luigi Pikachu – Luigi Pikachu Special Box from the Pokémon Champion Pack.
Packz.io also features a PWA to make up for the lack of a dedicated mobile app. You can claim a Sweat-Free welcome pack with a 100% pack price buyback guarantee on your first pack purchase, up to $100. So, if the cards you pull don’t match the pack price, you’ll receive the difference as bonus funds.
Courtyard.io features Pokémon, MTG, and One Piece. Among these CCGs, we found limited Pokémon drops. Some of these include Pokémon: The Amazing Chase Day 1, Pokémon Ultra (Spicy), and Pokémon Platinum (Spicy).
Although there’s no welcome bonus currently available, the site features reward tiers from Silver, Gold, Platinum to Diamond. Each tier comes with a monthly free pack and a guaranteed value pack. If you want your pulled cards shipped, you’ll be eligible for free shipping when you reach the Platinum tier.
Currently, Clutch Pack features only two CCGs: Pokémon and One Piece. Each game includes a Launch Series of packs. In the One Piece category, we started with the Lift Off pack, which costs $25 and allows collectors to pull cards as high as $250. We liked that the pack includes chase cards such as One Piece Ms. All Sunday #OP14-084 The Azure Sea’s Seven Alternate Art PSA 10.
Pokémon collectors may want to start with the Ignition pack, which costs $50 and offers an opportunity to pull cards up to $500. According to the listed odds, there’s a 6.39% probability of pulling a hit such as the 2026 Pokémon Mega Attack Rare Mega Gengar ex #269 PSA 10.
We’d appreciate it as well if Clutch Pack offered a mobile app or even a PWA. At the time of our review, neither was available.
Packs.com is one of the few card rips sites that features four of the top CCGs: Pokémon, One Piece, Magic: The Gathering, and Riftbound. We also found newly released single pulls.
When we signed up, we claimed a free pack from the featured CCGs except Riftbound. Like most card rips sites, Packs.com doesn’t have a mobile app, but that’s not a major drawback since it offers a PWA. Moreover, the site’s usability is excellent. We were able to filter packs by Highest Value, Lowest Value, and New First. We also found the price filter useful, as it helped us narrow down packs that fit our budget.
During our review, we didn’t find many sites offering Disney Lorcana packs. However, Ripz.gg is one of the very few featuring this CCG. Available sets include Wilds Unknown, Winterspell, Whispers in the Well, Fabled, Shimmering Skies, Ursula’s Return, Into the Inklands, Rise of the Floodborn, and The First Chapter. In the Fabled set, collectors can chase cards such as Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.
The site also offers authentic Pokémon packs. You can rip Pokémon packs from the Mega Evolution, Scarlet & Violet, Sword & Shield, Sun & Moon, XY, and Black & White eras. One Piece packs are available as well, although only one set is currently featured: The Time of Battle.
Ripz.gg gives new collectors a welcome bonus without requiring a deposit. All you have to do is complete your sign-up and claim a free card and chest.
We claimed three free boxes immediately after signing up on MrLoot. At the time of our review, Pokémon was the only CCG available with Mega Evolution and Scarlet & Violet packs.
MrLoot is suitable for budget-friendly collectors who want to rip packs priced as low as $0.34. From these packs, you can pull cards up to $20.04. The site also features a High Roller Pulls category with packs priced between $10.24 and $145.63. Some of the possible pulls include a Neo Destiny Booster Box.
The ripping site offers a PWA for collectors who’d prefer a dedicated mobile app. During our review, ripping packs on both the website and the PWA was easy, with no lag or hangs, even when we used the Auto Open and Fast Open features.
Arena Club is one of only three sites on our top 10 list for ripping TCGs with a dedicated mobile app. You can find the app on both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
The site features top CCGs, including Pokémon, One Piece, and Disney Lorcana. In the Slab Packs category, we found products such as Special Series Pokémon EX, Legendary Pokémon, Diamond Magical, and Diamond One Piece. For Sports Cards collectors, you can pull hits during sports card rips on the app.
In the Diamond Magical section, cards such as Maleficent 2022 Disney Lorcana Base #5 GEM MINT 10 and Cinderella 2023 Disney Lorcana Enchanted #205 GEM MINT 10 are available. Moreover, the One Piece CCG category offers a top hit such as Monkey D. Luffy 2023 One Piece Manga #OP05-119 SEC GEM MINT 10.
In the future, we’d like to see Arena Club introduce a welcome bonus for new collectors on its card ripping app.
There may not be a sign-up bonus on OpenThatPack, but the regular rewards, including the cashback bonus and sellback bonus, are what we appreciate most. The rewards you receive depend on your level. For instance, to claim an 8% cashback bonus, you have to reach level 100. The same level also awards a 10% sellback bonus.
The four CCGs available on OpenThatPack are Pokémon, One Piece, Riftbound, and Magic: The Gathering. Plus, the packs are budget-friendly for beginners. Unlike some card rips sites that offer Pokémon starter packs for around $50, you can get an entry pack on OpenThatPack for just $5.
At the moment, the ripping site doesn’t have a dedicated mobile app or a PWA. However, during our review, we ripped packs directly on the site without any performance issues.
Before compiling our list of trading card rips sites, we came up with a checklist. These were the areas we looked at to identify the best card rips.
We wanted to rip packs only on secure sites. So we checked whether each site uses SSL encryption to protect collectors’ information.
After confirming this, we looked at how packs are opened. Some ripping sites reveal packs during a live stream. Others use provably fair technology and, in some cases, blockchain to show that digital pack openings haven’t been tampered with. For collectors, that’s a good sign the site is transparent and that the pulls aren’t being manipulated before they’re revealed.
The thing is, ripping a card doesn’t end with pulling a hit. Customer support also plays a role. We only wanted sites that offer reliable support whenever we needed help. Our recommendations provide live chat, email support, and a detailed FAQs section, so collectors aren’t left stranded when they need assistance.
Claiming a welcome bonus is always a nice way to start. Some sites on our list offer free packs without requiring a deposit. On sites where there isn’t a sign-up bonus, you’ll usually find daily rewards, referral bonuses, or a tiered rewards program.
CCGs are the reason we register on these sites in the first place. So, we looked for sites that feature popular ones such as Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, One Piece, and Riftbound. During our research, we even found sites offering Disney Lorcana packs, which isn’t very common on card rips sites.
On our list, you’ll find sites that support several payment methods, including credit and debit cards such as Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Many also accept PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and even cryptocurrency deposits and withdrawals.
With these payment options, we could easily find a method that suited our preferences.
From our review of the top 10 ripping sites, we’d say they’re a good fit for collectors who want to open packs without buying an entire booster box. If you’re a beginner looking for low-cost entry packs, these sites are for you. After all, even starter packs can contain rare pulls.
On the other hand, ripping sites may not be the best option if you’re trying to complete a master set or looking for specific singles. In that case, it’s better to buy the exact cards you need rather than rely on pack pulls.
We know that card rips online sites are still new to many collectors, and that’s why we have provided answers to common questions about these sites.
Collectors must be 18 or older to sign up on ripping sites. Identity verification is required to confirm eligibility.
Yes. Some ripping sites feature Disney Lorcana packs. However, this CCG is not yet common at many sites.
Yes. Ripping sites offer a welcome bonus. There are also regular promotions, such as daily packs, referral rewards, and tier rewards. Some sites offer cashback and sellback bonuses too.
From our review, we found both the good and bad sides of card rip online sites. Starting with the good, many sites offer free packs as a welcome bonus, so new collectors and beginners don’t have to spend much to get started. Most also include an online vault where you can safely store your cards until you’re ready to have them shipped.
Another advantage is that you can watch live card rips as they happen. If you aren’t happy with a pull, many sites let you sell it back to the site. Some sites also provide grading services. So if you’re a beginner, you can learn how to grade cards through the grading options available on some of our recommended sites.
On the downside, shipping fees apply on most ripping sites, although some waive them once you reach a certain tier. We also found that vintage card rips aren’t as common as modern ones, because most sites offer newer releases.
Plus, some sites offer only one or two CCGs, so you may have to confirm that they feature the games you collect.
