What makes Cases.gg different from other mystery box sites?

Cases.gg is an online mystery box site where players can open digital cases that are matched with existing products in real life. Case prizes aren’t grouped into generic prize tiers like “small prize” or “medium prize”.

Clicking on a category opens up a list of specific items: a Mercedes Benz G Class, Rolex Yacht-Master 42, a Dior and Shawn Saddle Black bag, Apple AirPods, the full list can be extensive. Moreover, clicking on a case reveals each prize within it and shows the odds of acquiring it before opening.

Case Cash (CC) mode

This virtual currency is related to Gold Coins but serves as a promotional currency that can be redeemed for cryptocurrency or real cash. The mystery box that was opened with CC can also be delivered to you at a shipping fee cost or traded for other eligible items on the site or even sold for several Case Cash. CC are only provided through promotions or comes attached to optional Gold Coins purchases.

Cases.gg definitely offers over 400 cases to be honest. I just wanted to see how many I could find, so I counted that many for about half an hour. Cases span different products, categories, and price points, from valuable items like a 2022 Lamborghini Urus to everyday objects, such as plastic bottle caps.

The newest was the “Yaris to Urus” case, costing $14,867.84 to open. The case holds 18 types, including a 2002 Toyota Yaris and a Tesla Model S Plaid. At the far end of the page is the “Reduce Reuse Recycle” case, costing just $0.10 to open. The 18 items it contains vary from an Aquafina water bottle label to plastic spoons. Until now, I couldn’t believe a water bottle label was considered a pull!

The first spin returned an item (United States Penny) valued at $0.01. There was a plot twist, though. I hovered my mouse on the balance bar and saw an option to play with coins. I then clicked and saw that I’d gotten 5,000 Gold Coins, just for registering.

That wasn’t exactly an impressive start. When I contacted customer support because I expected three separate cases, I was told that the “three free cases” meant spinning the Welcome Case three times for an item.

Fortunately, the first purchase offer is more substantial, with a bonus of 5% to 200% depending on the package. I purchased a $100 package and received 1,000,000 GC plus 100.25 bonus CC. Don’t worry, Cases.gg makes a point of the first-purchase offer not being mandatory.

How to make purchases and redeem Case Cash

Gold Coins are gotten either through promotions or purchases. Cases.gg offers two broad ways to buy:

• Cryptocurrency: More than 10 cryptos are accepted, including Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), and USD Coin (USDC).
• Traditional payment methods: Cases.gg accepts 11 forms of non-crypto payments, including debit/credit cards, bank transfer, Apple Pay, PayPal, and WeChat.

When you buy mystery boxes using CC, you may want to have them shipped, which comes with a fee. The site also states that only North America and some European countries are supported for shipping. But if you request shipment, it is best to contact Cases.gg yourself for an update.

In addition, eligible cases can be traded for new ones, redeemed for crypto or cash equal to the item’s market price. The minimum amount for cash redemption is 20 CC and KYC must be done. There might be up to a 30-day delay when dealing with cash payouts and the site mentions that it can only make one withdrawal every 5 days for a player.

Is Cases.gg legit?

Cases.gg is run by CGG Entertainment Ltd., which is located in Delaware , but it’s not accessible in every state. Presently, it’s not available in Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Michigan and Washington. Players in other states aged 18 or older may create an account but should confirm availability first.

The site has more responsible-gambling measures than I anticipated. These include spend limits, blocking options, and self-exclusion from certain games or the site. To maintain transparency, Cases.gg enables players to confirm Cases and Upgrader game outcomes by referencing their Seed Pair with Nonce rather than relying on the site’s word.

I went as far as reading through the entire privacy policy, which I often skip, to see how my data is being managed. My experience using the interface

It took me some time to understand how Cases.gg works. I clicked randomly for several minutes until I understood that game modes were the icons at the bottom of the site. Once I knew that, I tested the site on both my PC and my phone. There isn’t an app yet.

The top shows my balance and where to add funds. The Profile icon is next and it gives access to Missions, Support links and free play. I like the organization of things in the center. No cases battling for my attention. The side-arrow icon in the middle is where I found the chatroom. Features open up quickly here. No delay. Other extra links such as Terms and so on are also located further down.

How do I reach support?

I faced a problem with trying to redeem one of my pulls, so I messaged customer support after looking through the FAQ page (there wasn’t much helpful information there). My first messages to support were replied to within seconds, so I thought the site was quick. This didn’t last with my next messages, which took a lot longer to receive a response and weren’t as detailed.

Below the group chat widget, I found Cases.gg social media handles. They include X (Twitter), Discord, Kick and Twitch. The site uses Discord to create a group for its players with a whopping 10,000+ members. I wasn’t expecting it to have that many people on Discord, which implies that Cases.gg does have a community outside of the site itself.

Conclusion – You can open cases for fun or have them shipped to you

I understood Cases.gg better after learning the distinction between Gold Coins and Case Cash. The different price range for cases is definitely something I am impressed with. I have never encountered a site that simultaneously offers digital case opening and social games as Cases.gg does.

However, I really wish Cases.gg had a dedicated section to view all its offers rather than just sprinkle them throughout the site. Its customer service could improve; the initial responses were fast, but later replies took much longer. Neither issue would deter me from using the site, but they are both areas Cases.gg can get better at.
