Can you grab a freebie when you sign up at Clash.gg?

You sure can. The landing page confirms that you can collect three free cases to open in exchange for creating an account at Clash.gg. You won’t know what’s inside each box until you open it, but you can find out what you might see. Here are a few of the prospects:

How to get your Clash.gg signup bonus

This bit was about as easy as I could have hoped for. I’ll go through the required steps here, so you know what you’ll need to do if you decide to sign up. You won’t need a Clash.gg promo code to create your account, but I’ll make sure anything relevant appears in the banners on this page if something pops up.

1. Click a link on this page to head over to Clash.gg

2. Click sign-in at the top right

3. Switch tab in popup to register

4. Fill in the form and confirm you’ve read the T&Cs and that you’re 18 years or over

5. Click the green button to complete the process

You should then receive an email with a verification link in it. Click the button or copy and paste the link and you’re done. You can then claim your three free boxes and open them to find out what’s inside.

Yep, promotions plural – I’ve got a lot to get through in this next section. Clash.gg has been busy coming up with all kinds of perks for its members, and I’ve got info on those here. I recommend regularly checking out the Rewards section of their website, which you’ll find linked near the bottom of the site.

First deposit bonus

This one’s interesting. Look for the green button that says ‘claim deposit bonus’ at the top of the site and click on it. You can then choose your bonus for your first deposit, from 5% to 200%. When you select your desired amount (you can change your mind and play around with it prior to depositing), you’ll see how many Gems you will receive when depositing.

You’ll receive your Gems gradually, based on playing through the deposited amount. That’s all it says on that topic, but you should see Gems appearing in your Gem balance as you use your deposit to buy some cases to open. However, you do have ways to play and enjoy Clash.gg for free, such as by using the Chat Rains, which I’ll come to next.

Chat Rains

Once you’re on the site, you’ll see a Rain Pool at the top of the chat section on the left of the Clash.gg website. You can take part in that to try and get some free Gems, but only once you’ve verified your identity. The Know Your Customer requirements are there to make sure you’re old enough to play, and that you’re in an eligible US state.

The best part of this promo is that it ‘rains’ every 30 minutes, so even if you miss a few, you’re never far from getting out there and taking part in the next shower! It’s probably the easiest way to pick up some Gems. Incidentally, you really can chat with other members there too, which is a cool feature if you want to try it.

This also requires identity verification via the KYC method, so once you’ve done that, you can send a mailed request to get 7.25 Gems, according to the official Clash.gg website.

Clash Missions

You’ll see 37 of these on the rewards page at Clash.gg. It looks like you can choose to skip one if you want to, but this will take you to the next mission on the list – you can’t jump around. Here are a few examples I picked out. As you’ll see, the missions become more challenging as you go through them, which is to be expected.

The rewards program

Access the rewards option in the lower menu labeled Additional, and you’ll see what you can currently claim at Clash.gg. It looks like the best perk involves some free boxes, but you only get these once you reach Level 5. It’s not obvious how you can progress through those levels either.

I did note that you upgrade to a bigger and better box at certain levels. After Level 5, the next one is available at Level 10. With 200 levels noted on the relevant page at Clash.gg, you can be sure the potential contents at that level will be impressive. Some of the possibilities included factory new, battle scarred, and field tested weapons, so there’s a real mix on offer.

The VIP program

Hang on – isn’t that the same as the rewards program? Actually, no… but I only found this out when I chatted with someone called Sophie via Clash.gg’s live chat service. She confirmed there’s a separate VIP program available, but only those who deposit at least $5,000 every month get access to it.

Leaderboard events

The current Clash.gg leaderboard race involves collecting as many beach balls as you can. I got one beach ball for every 10 Gems I used in any of the Clash Gamemodes (think Plinko and Mines, for example). You can also unlock a variety of cases using your beach balls, each giving you a chance of collecting a CS:GO weapon or other item.

You can check the current leaderboard on the relevant page at Clash.gg. The current leaderboard race offers these prizes:

• 1st place – 7,500 Gems
• 2nd place – 5,000 Gems
• 3rd place – 3,000 Gems

I found 50 positions in the current leaderboard event, but only the top 20 will receive some Gems when the event finishes. I guess they’ve included other positions so people can see how close they are to breaking through to reach one of the top 20 spots. It also says the totals reset on the last day of the month, implying a new leaderboard will begin each month. I suspect the theme will change to reflect the time of year, too.

Honestly, I was impressed at receiving three free cases just for signing up at Clash.gg – and the whole signup process was sorted in a couple of minutes, too. While you do need to complete ID verification to tick the KYC box as well, it’s all done securely – and once you’ve done it, you’ll be able to take advantage of those Chat Rains every half hour as well.
