Is there a Collector Crypt signup bonus?

I’ve tried a few different card break and mystery box sites over the last few weeks and a common occurrence I’ve noticed is that not many of them offer any type of welcome bonus. This was exactly the case with Collector Crypt. At the time I produced this guide, there was no signup offer – nothing like a deposit bonus or any free packs. You simply register an account, link your crypto wallet or purchase crypto via the relevant feature, and get straight into the pack ripping action!

This is a bit of a disappointment, but as I said, it’s not a one-off and it does look like, from my own experiences, that signup offers with card break sites are not as common as other types of companies. Perhaps they will add one in the future, but for now, there’s nothing.

How to create your Collector Crypt account

For this Collector Crypt review, I didn’t let the lack of a Collector Crypt signup bonus bother me – instead, I just cracked on checking out the other promotions, and browsing the fantastic selection of packs they offer. If you want to do that too, you will need to register an account, and this can be done by following these steps:

  1. Tap the relevant Collector Crypt banner on this page.

  2. Click the register button.

  3. Enter an email.

  4. Confirm your email by entering the 2FA code.

  5. Log in to your new account.

You should be able to get signed up in less than a minute, and I liked that there is a 2FA requirement before you can login, as this is an incredibly secure account protection measure.

After signing up, click on your wallet address in the top right corner – from here you can access all the main site features such as your profile, your wallet, and your card vault.

Did I find any other Collector Crypt bonuses or promotions?

Although there isn’t a Collector Crypt deposit bonus, I DID find some other features worth talking about including a referral program, loyalty points system, and leaderboards.

Referral bonus

If you click the profile link when you hover over your profile name, you’ll be able to access your referral program. Now, as of yet, I’ve not been able to find out any information about this program. When you click on the program link, you simply get a page that shows your referral link that you can copy, plus your referral history. There is no explanation about how it all works, nothing about how you get a referral bonus.

I found this a bit strange and it basically means I have no idea if the program is any good or not. Additionally, I don’t really have anyone who would be interested in using a referral code, so I’ve not been able to gauge how it works using my friend network! All I can suggest is that if you do have friends, give them your referral link – I’m sure that it will be worthwhile!

Points system

Something that IS more concrete and I can see the awesome value of is the Points system, which is basically like a loyalty scheme. Whenever you rip packs at Collector Crypt, you get Points. You can then use these Points to redeem free packs. From what I can see, the free packs are basically any of the packs available to rip from this site, and they have the following Points requirements:

  • Elite Pokemon Pack – 100,000 Points.
  • One Piece Ocean Blue Pack – 100,000 Points.
  • Legendary Pokemon Pack – 500,000 Points.
  • Baseball 250 Pack – 500,000 Points.
  • Football 250 Pack – 500,000 Points.
  • One Piece Pack – 500,000 Points.
  • Basketball 250 Pack – 500,000 Points.
  • One Piece Emperor Pack – 2,000,000 Points.
  • Grail Pokemon Pack – 2,000,000 Points.
  • Celestial Pokemon Pack – 10,000,000 Points.

I think this is a fantastic feature and I like that you can basically choose whichever of these packs you want to use your Points on. Also, if you are feeling generous, you can transfer Points to other customers via the “Send Bonus Points” feature.

Leaderboards

Collector Crypt also has a leaderboards feature where you can see who collected the top points for different categories including Starter, Elite, Legendary, Grail, One Piece, Emperor, and Sports packs. I’ve checked through the lists and there’s truly some insane Points scores! For example, at the time I made this Collector Crypt promo code guide, the top spot for the “All Packs” category had 1.078 BILLION points!

From what I can see, the leaderboard is purely to show off – at this point in time it doesn’t have any actual functionality. For example, some leaderboards offer weekly or monthly prizes, but I couldn’t see anything like that.

Leagues and Badges

Another gamification feature which doesn’t really have any practical use, but is still cool nonetheless is the Gachadex League. This is basically a ranking system showing the top users in terms of the Pokemon they have “caught” (I’m pretty sure that by caught they mean ripped from packs). Don’t get me wrong – I enjoyed looking through people’s collections, but it doesn’t offer any benefit to users so it has a limited purpose.

Building on this, if you go on your profile you also have a series of Badges that you can collect for achieving different things on the site. I like this feature, and some of the badges are cool like the “Point Hoarder” which you get for accumulating 100,000 Points. Each badge has some sick artwork and I guess it adds an extra layer of fun to the pack ripping process.

Top tips for using the Collector Crypt site

To finish, I want to share some of my experiences while using Collector Crypt, and things I found useful.

🔍 Check out the card data and information before ripping

For every card that is available to rip in the packs, you can click on it to reveal a heap of useful information. This includes the estimated value, the blockchain token ID of the item, and a link to view the actual card on the official Collector Crypt marketplace if it is also listed there. Not only that, but you can see the complete grading information including the company that graded it, the total card POP, and the graded card POP.

📊 Make sure you understand the pack percentages and potential values

DO NOT go into the pack ripping process without first comparing all the different packs types, their rarity tiers, the potential cards you can get, and the percentage chance of pulling each tier. This is vital! Firstly, because if you are looking for specific cards then certain packs might not be beneficial. Secondly, to make sure that you are comfortable with the risk factor and the minimum potential value you can get back.

🏪 Also check out the separate Collector Crypt marketplace

Collector Crypt has a secondary marketplace too which is actually the main product that this site offers. Not only can you list the cards you rip on the marketplace, but you can send your own cards off to Collector Crypt to be graded, and then to list on the marketplace. I found this really useful for getting an idea of what’s popular, and how the buyback offers they give compare to the actual market price that the cards are selling for. This can ultimately help your decision making process and ensure you get the best value for your collection.

Conclusion – Collector Crypt has room for improvement with its promotions

Collector Crypt feels very much like a few other card break sites that I’ve tested recently – it lacks a welcome bonus, but it does a decent job with the other features and bonuses for existing customers. This looks to be a common trend, and I’m starting to lose hope that any site will have a decent welcome bonus! Still, I DO like the Points system at Collector Crypt, and I think the potential free pack rewards you can get are cool.

On top of that, there are also the fun collector-inspired things like the leaderboards and leagues – just remember that right now, they don’t offer any utility outside of bragging rights. Lastly, there’s also the referral program to consider, but the jury is still out on the potential value of this. All things considered, Collector Crypt has room for improvement, but I still think it’s worth trying, purely for the fantastic range of packs and individual cards you can pull – to try it out yourself, feel free to click any of the relevant banners I’ve got on this page.

Collector Crypt bonus code FAQs

⁉️ What is the Collector Crypt promo code?

There isn’t one. The only real code or link that you can get at the moment is your referral link. You should be able to access this when you’ve logged into your account from the Profile option in the drop-down menu on the right-hand side of the site.

💰 Is there a Collector Crypt deposit bonus?

No. At the time I created this Collector Crypt promo code guide, the site did not offer any type of welcome bonus for new customers. Additionally, I’ve not seen any other deposit bonuses for existing customers.

☺️ Can you get any free packs at Collector Crypt?

Yes. The Points system is currently the only way to get free packs at Collector Crypt. You get points by ripping packs, and then you can use these points to buy free packs.

✅ Are the features at Collector Crypt legit?

Yes. I’ve looked at the pack ripping process in detail and I’m confident that everything is above board. Each of the packs has a list of potential cards, together with their percentages and values. There’s also provably fair blockchain data showing the result of each pull.
