Crypto.com is a popular prediction site with lots of different markets. Despite finding no tailored prediction trading welcome bonus, I enjoyed buying and selling contracts. My Crypto.com prediction market review will detail my thoughts on the brand.

Right off the bat, I was happy that you are not restricted to one or two markets. There is everything from sports and climate to crypto and even pop culture predictions. You can make your predictions with the desktop website, plus on the go with the dedicated apps. Join me for the lowdown on the platform.

No welcome bonus for new prediction traders

While using the site I did not come across a Crypto.com sign up bonus for prediction markets. In fact, there are no prediction rewards for existing users as well.

This was disappointing to find, especially since many other sites offer dedicated bonuses for prediction traders. Should things change, keep an eye on the banners on this page for tailored rewards.

Now, while there may not be a prediction market sign up offer, there is a standard reward. Currently, you can unlock up to four mystery box rewards for reaching trading milestones.

For example, if you trade $100 within your first 30 days, you can open a mystery box to win between $1 and $10. Here is a table with how the mystery box rewards are credited:

Trading volume milestoneMystery box reward
$100$1 – $10
$500$5 – $20
$1,000$10 – $50
$5,000$25 – $100

Don’t forget, though, that this welcome offer cannot be used for the prediction market. Only other futures trading is permitted, such as spot trading.

Prediction model: How does Crypto.com work

From my research, I learned that prediction trading is offered by Crypto.com | Derivatives North America (CDNA). The CDNA is regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).

Crypto.com’s prediction model works similarly to many other trusted brands. You make binary prediction trades (Yes/No) on the outcome of real-world events.

I found that there are two main types of orders: market and limit. Market orders execute immediately at the best available price. Limit orders sit in the order book and only fill at a specific price.

Understanding prices and probabilities

The markets and prices are set by other traders, not by the brand. Prices for every market range between $0.01 to $0.99. If you have a winning outcome, the market will settle at $1. However, all losing outcomes close at $0.

All prices are reflected as probabilities and every prediction contract is in English. For example, let’s say that a contract has the New England Patriots to beat the Chicago Bears at 60%. This means that traders believe the Patriots have a 60% chance of winning.

If you purchase $100 of Yes contracts, you will receive 166 contracts. If the Patriots win, your contract will settle at $1, and you will receive $166 (minus any fees, more on that soon). If the Bears win the game, then you will lose your $100.

Predict Pro: The newest feature on Crypto.com

In my experience, one of the best features of using Crypto.com is Predict Pro. This is one of the newest features which was recently launched.

Predict Pro adds more mechanics to the prediction experience. Instead of just finding Yes/No contracts, you now have access to a more comprehensive hub. There are full order-book details, more advanced order types, and multi-event combos.

With combos, you can add up to 20 different markets into one contract. However, you should avoid adding too many markets. One wrong selection will result in the entire combo settling at $0 and you losing the money you put in.

You will find some prediction fees

Interestingly, when Crypto.com predictions first launched, there was a standard trading fee. This meant that for every executed contract, you would incur a $0.01 technology fee and a $0.01 exchange fee.

The Crypto.com fees have been updated recently. Now, in addition to the technology and exchange fees, there are tailored fees for different markets.

The table below details how prediction trading fees are calculated. Just remember the following key points:

  • Taker fees = orders filled immediately
  • Maker fees = order rests and then is filled
  • C = Number of contracts
  • P = Contract price

Market categoryTrading feesSettlement fees
Sports & single contractsTaker: 0.07 x C x P x (1 – P)

Make prediction trades for six main categories

At the time of writing, there are six main market categories: sports, climate, crypto, culture, economics and politics. I was pleased with the range of options, and many of these categories have high liquidity contracts. Thus, you can close your predictions early to take out profits or minimize losses.

Before I can share my thoughts on each category, check out the table below for an overview of the types of contracts.

CategoryTypes of contracts
SportsMatch winners, MVPs, championship winners
ClimateClimate change
Crypto5-minute, daily, weekly, monthly, one-time
CultureAwards, video games, music charts
EconomicsFed decisions, unemployment, interest rates
PoliticsDomestic election results

Sports

Sports prediction contracts contribute the largest share of options on Crypto.com. The main types include match winners, championship winners and player MVPs. You can enter positions for mainstream US professional sports leagues, such as Pro Football and Pro Basketball. Plus, you can make predictions for foreign tournaments like the English Premier League and Formula 1.

I did notice that, besides making predictions before an event begins, you can also place live trades. This is available for select sports, such as table tennis and tennis.

Below are examples of the sports prediction contracts:

  • Who will win the 2026 FIDE World Chess Championship?
  • Ballon d’Or winner for 2026?
  • Winner of the 2026 F1 United States Grand Prix?

Climate

One of the newer categories is Climate. For now, there is only one prediction contract type: climate change. You can enter a position on whether 2026 will rank among the hottest years on record. At the time of writing, there is over $140,000 liquidity for that contract.

I suggest tracking the climate tab, as there should be more markets in the future. I expect options like daily temperatures for major US cities, natural disaster predictions, and monthly rainfall and snowfall forecasts.

Current climate prediction market:

  • Will 2026 rank amongst the hottest years on record?

Crypto

The crypto category includes several tokens you can predict. These include Bitcoin, Ethereum and Dogecoin. I liked the range of options, especially the 5-minute markets. These are settled quickly and generally have high volumes. The other types of markets include daily, weekly and one-time forecasts.

Here are a few of the crypto prediction contracts:

  • What will the Bitcoin price be at the end of 2026?
  • When will Bitcoin cross $100,000 again?
  • What will the XRP price be at 6 PM ET today?

Culture

Similar to the climate category, culture is another newer category on Crypto.com. I found a mix of contract types, including for video games, award shows and music charts. I did notice that new prediction contracts are added regularly, especially when the Oscars are around the corner.

Below are the main markets with the highest liquidity:

  • Top Artist on Spotify in 2026?
  • Dancing With The Stars Season 35 winner?
  • TIME’s Person of the Year 2026?

Economics

Like the climate and culture categories, there are only a limited number of economic markets. All of the options focus on the US sector. You can buy and sell prediction positions for US Fed decisions, unemployment rates and whether there will be any interest rate cuts.

Since other brands have foreign macroeconomic indicators, these are also needed on Crypto.com.

For now, here are some of the main economic markets:

  • Will there be a US recession by the end of 2026?
  • What will the Fed decision be in October 2026?
  • Unemployment rate in November 2026?

Politics

After browsing the politics category, I observed that many of these prediction contracts have the highest volumes on the site. There is a lot of interest in US politics. However, I did not find any foreign political contracts.

Currently, the most popular prediction contracts are listed below:

  • US Presidential Election winner 2028?
  • Texas Senate Election winner 2026?
  • Which Party will win the US Senate in 2026?

Complete KYC checks before depositing and withdrawing

I recommend you submit your KYC documents (proof of ID and address) as soon as you sign up. Without these documents, you will not be allowed to deposit or withdraw.

As shared in other Crypto.com prediction market reviews, you can fund your account with cryptocurrency and FIAT. The accepted payment methods include Visa, Mastercard, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Bitcoin, Litecoin and Dogecoin.

In my experience, I did not incur any deposit fees. However, there may be network fees for using select cryptocurrencies. I liked that all deposits are processed instantly, including debit card payments.

You can withdraw funds to your bank account or your crypto wallet. Like payments, there are no withdrawal fees. Compared to my time at other prediction sites, the withdrawal processing times are much quicker on Crypto.com.

On average, crypto withdrawals are processed within minutes. Bank transfers do take a little bit longer, but you should receive your funds within a day or two.

My thoughts on the customer support

I would score the customer service top marks, as the agents are friendly and provide accurate feedback.

Before asking for help, I suggest visiting the Help Center. There is a dedicated support hub. You will notice an informational guide on how the fees work and the different types of orders. The informational guides also have several FAQs that cover other broader areas, such as market coverage.

Live support is available via the live chat tool. FYI, you must be logged in to your account to speak with a human agent. I asked the agents about potential Crypto.com referral code promos, and they were happy to answer all my questions.

At first, you will communicate with an AI chatbot, but you can ask to be transferred to a human agent. You can communicate in English with the US agents. They answer questions quickly, generally within a minute or two.

You can also email the support team if you have detailed queries. However, from my experience, you may have to wait up to six hours for a response. Crypto.com also has a strong presence on social media. You should follow the official X channel as they do share lots of details about upcoming features. For example, I watched the Predict Pro announcement video on the X account.

You can make trades on the desktop website

Like many of the established prediction platforms, Crypto.com also allows you to trade on the desktop website. The website has a minimalist look, but it is easy on the eye.

Visually, the standard Crypto.com blue and white colors are used for prediction trading. There is a dark background and several banners, which make it easy to find specific categories.

If you are new to prediction markets, you will enjoy using your PC or laptop for trading. The price tracker for each position makes it easy to follow price movements. I suggest following this carefully, as you can see what other users expect. Also, remember to view the order book to see the current bids and asks for that event.

The main banners are at the top of the page. When you select a contract, that prediction position will open on the right-hand side of the page. I preferred that visual display, as nothing clutters the homepage.

I also noticed a trending banner. You can click this to find prediction contracts with high liquidity. If you want to view the latest contracts, edit the filtering options by clicking the toggle icon.

Use the mobile apps and website to trade on the go

The Crypto.com apps allow you to make prediction trades on the go. I was pleased that the apps cater to everyone. You can download the official apps from either the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. I read several reviews, and both apps have over 4-star ratings on the relevant App Stores.

I downloaded the Android app, since I have a Samsung phone. I had no issues using the app and everything was optimized for my smaller device. Just remember to double-check the storage space on your phone. You need around 800 MB of space for the iOS app and 300 MB for the Android.

Don’t stress if you are struggling for storage space. There is also a mobile-optimized website.

The mobile site mirrors the desktop version. When using your mobile browser, you can open positions, speak to a support agent and even browse the order book.

The loading times were similar for both the standalone apps and websites. However, it is best to ensure you have a stable internet connection, as there could be buffering otherwise.

Is Crypto.com a secure prediction site?

Crypto.com is a reputable exchange and trading platform. As I touched on, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission regulates the CDNA. With the CFTC compliance, it is federally permitted in most US states as it operates as a Designated Contract Market.

However, you should be aware of a few restrictions:

  • You cannot trade any prediction contracts in New York and Arizona.
  • Nevada, Ohio, Michigan, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey and Illinois residents cannot trade Crypto.com sports markets.

The brand also protects all users’ identities and documents. Each account is password-protected, and there is also 2FA verification. Every registered user must also verify their profiles.

Sponsored by Crypto.com – Not investment advice. Trading prediction markets and crypto involves risk, including potential loss of your stake. Consider your risk tolerance before participating. Crypto.com connects U.S. users to CDNA (regulated by CFTC) for derivatives trading. CDNA membership required. Trading may not be suitable for all—you could lose your entire investment plus fees. Past performance doesn’t guarantee future results. This is not a solicitation or recommendation to trade.

Getting started: How to create a new account

  2. Select – Select the blue Sign Up button at the top of the homepage.

  10. Trade – Finally, click the Predict button to open the predictions market portal. You can then browse the various categories and start marking your prediction trades.

Verdict – Lots of markets to trade on Crypto.com

Crypto.com is a good choice for prediction traders. The site is a trusted name in the industry and is permitted across most US states. Through my time on the platform, plenty of things stood out.

The newly launched Predict Pro is a nice tool. The fact that there are more features besides standard Yes/No predictions is a welcome addition. Plus, it is nice to see the brand introducing more markets. Now, you can trade on six main categories, and most options have high volume and liquidity.

However, I did also find a few areas for improvement. The big one is the lack of promotions for prediction markets. While using other sites, I found welcome offers, referral bonuses, and incentive programs. I hope to see these types of perks in the coming weeks and months.

Another improvement would be adding more types of contracts for climate and economic predictions. Should natural disaster prediction contracts and foreign macroeconomic indicators be added, keep an eye on my review for my thoughts.

In the meantime, why not give Crypto.com a try? Use the links or banners on this page to get started. Remember to do thorough research before making your predictions and be responsible!
