How Dorados Casino works

So if Dorados doesn’t offer gaming for real money, how does the site work? Well, the sweepstakes casino uses virtual currencies. Here’s how they operate:

Gold (Gold Coins)

The first virtual currency you’ll come across at Dorados is Gold, the site’s version of Gold Coins (GC). You use Gold to play games like Dorados slots in standard mode. Gold has no monetary value and can’t be used for anything outside the confines of the site.

Gems (Sweeps Coins)

While most sweepstakes casinos have Sweeps Coins, Dorados has Gems. These work in the same way, and you use them to play games in promotional mode. Dorados allows you to collect Gems, and once you have 50 or more of them, you can redeem them for cash prizes. But you’ll need to meet the 1x playthrough requirement before they’re eligible for redemption. Like Gold, Gems have no monetary value, and you can’t use them for anything other than gaming at Dorados.

Elixir

Dorados adds another virtual currency to the pot, called Elixir. Like Gold and Gems, it has no monetary value, but gives you access to added perks and offers. You can use Elixir to get Dorados free spins on the daily bonus wheel, where you can unlock unique promos:
