How to sign up at DraftKings Predictions

I’ve decided to jump straight in and show you what you’ll need to do when you sign up at DraftKings Predictions. But first, without wishing to dampen your enthusiasm, I need to tell you that you’ll only be able to claim the bonus I’ve told you about if you’re a completely new user.

Now that doesn’t just mean new to predictions, that means new to DraftKings. If you’ve held an account here previously, you’ll be able to access the Predictions product anyway, but you won’t be able to collect that tasty bonus I mentioned.

Assuming everything is in order, the steps you’ll need to take are much the same as I detailed in my PrizePicks promo code review:

1. Use the link I’ve added to the page banners to go to DraftKings Predictions

2. Click the green ‘Sign Up or Log In’ button you’ll see at the top right of your screen

3. Enter your email address, and mobile number, then choose a username and create a unique password

4. Click ‘Create Account’ and tick the box to confirm you accept the T&Cs

In a few seconds, DraftKings will send an authentication code to your phone. Once you’ve entered it in the box provided, you’ll be invited to complete KYC verification. For this part you’ll need to enter the following information:

• Full legal name
• Permanent residential address
• Date of birth
• Social Security Number

This information is sometimes sufficient, but you may be asked to provide details about your current employment status, and to upload official documents which may include a form of photo ID, a recent utility bill, and/or a recent bank statement.

Don’t worry too much about this part, most customers pass KYC without needing to provide further evidence. But in any event, it may take up to 48 hours for your account to be approved. When it has, you’ll be able to link your preferred payment method to your DraftKings account, make a deposit, and start trading.

Claiming your DraftKings Predictions welcome bonus

Fewer brands seem to bother with bonus codes these days. I didn’t need a Fanatics promo code when I signed up there, and you won’t need one for DraftKings Predictions either. I’ve already shown you the various steps and processes relating to creating a new account, which means I can get straight into the actual welcome bonus and how it works.

I already mentioned that you’ll only need to trade $5 worth of event contracts to get a $200 bonus. Although this sounds too good to be true, despite the usual reservations about such things, there’s no catch. All prediction markets are eligible for your initial trading, and the same applies when it comes to using your bonus credit.

How you’ll receive your bonus

You’ll receive your welcome bonus as ‘Prediction Dollars’ which is the DraftKings’ on-site currency. Also, you won’t receive the full $200 in one go, you’ll receive it over 21 days in four batches of $50 each.

• Trade $5 of event contracts and when they resolve, the first $50 will be added to your account automatically
• Day 7 You must log into your DraftKings Predictions account and use the ‘Click-to-Claim’ link to receive your next $50 of trading credit
• Repeat the Day 7 process on Days 14 and 21 to collect the two remaining $50 installments of your bonus

T&Cs you need to know about

There are three conditions attached to this bonus that you should know about. The first concerns the seven-day gap between installments. After completing the qualifying trade, you’ll receive the first $50 in Predictions Dollars, with additional $50 installments becoming available on Days 7, 14, and 21. Each of these later installments must be claimed within 168 hours of becoming available. For example, if your Day 7 reward becomes available at 16:00 on a Monday, you must claim it within the following 168 hours. If you miss that deadline, you’ll forfeit that installment, but you may still claim subsequent installments within their respective deadlines.

The second condition applies to your payout for successful event contracts purchased using Prediction Dollars. Your payout will only be any profit made from the contract. For example, if you buy a $0.60 contract using the bonus, if successful, your payout will be $0.40.

My third heads up bring far better news. I’m sure you’ll all be very pleased to learn that the Prediction Dollars you receive through this bonus remain valid for a full year from the time they are added to your account.

There’s nothing too challenging about making best use of the DraftKings Predictions referral program. After all, you can collect up to $125 of Prediction Dollars just by inviting five of your friends to sign up and share your trading experience.

You might also be interested to know that when I carried out my Underdog promo code review, the bonus credit I received had to be used within 14 days. But the Prediction Dollars you get at DraftKings remain active for a whole year.

New and “enhanced” DraftKings Rewards program

I mentioned in my main DraftKings Predictions review that the brand has recently revamped its loyalty program. This was previously known as ‘Dynasty Rewards’, and the virtual tokens associated with the program were called DK Dollars.

However, on August 12, 2026, DraftKings announced the rollout of an updated program called DraftKings Rewards, introducing Crown Cash as its new rewards currency. The revamped program also adds benefits such as a Birthday Bonus, Casino Weekly Bonus Back, and Crown Cash Boosts. The rollout is expanding to additional products, including DraftKings Predictions, so availability may depend on the platform and timing.

The existing Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond and Onyx tiers will remain, as will the Milestone and Elite Rewards you can collect between tiers.
