Fanatics Markets Review 2026: Prediction Markets, Contracts, Features, and Legitimacy

Fanatics Markets is restricted in your area.
Details

Fanatics Markets is a top contender for sports predictions – I found loads of markets for the NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, and European Soccer, plus a host of live prediction markets with plenty of trade volume.

Because of this, I’ve created a Fanatics Markets prediction markets review. I’ll look at things like the sports predictions, but also check out their markets for politics, economy, culture, and crypto. On top of that, I’ll make sure the brand is legit, and see how it works with payments, trading fees, and its signup bonus.

I was mainly interested in the Fanatics Markets sports predictions

When I started creating this Fanatics Markets prediction markets review, I assumed that sports would be their main feature. I was right! I knew that they have other sports products, and it looks as if sports is also their main emphasis for their P2P prediction exchange.

This is easily the most detailed category with the biggest selection of prediction markets. As a result, I think Fanatics Markets is primarily a great pick for sports fans – especially fans of the US pro leagues. In terms of variety, I was able to trade markets for these sports:

  • Baseball.
  • Soccer.
  • Tennis.
  • Hockey.
  • Basketball.
  • Football.
  • Motorsports.
  • Esports.
  • Fighting.
  • Golf.
  • Chess.
  • Table Tennis.
  • Sailing.

There’s certainly the most trade volume and activity for the NFL, MLB, and NBA and this suited me fine being a lifelong basketball fan. However, I was also impressed with the range of markets they have for soccer. For example, I found predictions for the EPL, Bundesliga, La Liga, and the different European competitions like the UEFA Champions league.

Tennis coverage is also spot on and I found markets for all ATP and WTA tournaments, including the smaller 250 and 500 events, and of course, the Grand Slams. You can see a few examples of predictions that were live when I created this Fanatics Markets prediction markets review in the below table:

Fanatics PredictionSportYesNo
Sabah FK vs. BV Borussia Dortmund – Dortmund to winSoccer91c10c
Detroit Pistons vs. Boston Celtics – Detroit to winBasketball48c53c
Chicago Bears vs. New England Patriots – New England to winFootball40c61c
Jacopo Vasami vs. Michele Ribecai – Vasami to winTennis33c68c

Fanatics Markets also has event predictions for this like crypto and politics

After sports, for this Fanatics markets app review I checked out their other categories. Compared to other major exchanges I’ve used, there’s definitely not as much selection, and currently, you’ve only got the following markets:

  • Politics.
  • Crypto.
  • Culture.
  • Economy.

The political section was great – it was packed with predictions for the US Midterms and the various elections surrounding it. I also like that they have markets for some global elections and inter-political relationships too.

The crypto, culture, and economy sections are ok, but they definitely need more adding. For instance, the crypto section mainly had markets for Bitcoin prices but not many other tokens. Similarly, for the economic prediction markets at Fanatics Markets, I only saw options for key indicators like interest rates and unemployment.

Because I was mainly looking at the sports markets here, the lack of variety for these categories wasn’t an issue. But, for someone who is more interested in events markets as opposed to sports predictions, Fanatics Markets could be a little limited.

I was impressed with the trade volume and order book at Fanatics Markets

I got pretty caught up looking at the predictions for this Fanatics Markets prediction markets review, but I did consider the trade volume and order book too. A site can have hundreds of markets, but if no one is placing trade orders then the whole thing falls apart.

I didn’t get that with Fanatics Markets. Now, I do not think it has the same volume as the two major prediction exchanges. But, personally, I always got my orders matched. Not all of them were instant, but the 10+ trades I made were all executed before the prediction event.

I was pretty happy with the volume for the different markets too – you can see some examples below:

  • New York Knicks vs. Philadelphia 76ers – $29,000+.
  • Party to control the US House of Representatives in 2026 – $21,000+.
  • Midterms: Congress balance of power 2026 – $45,000+.

I did think that the sports and political predictions looked to have the highest trade volume. And, I noted that some of the more niche markets such as music charts and economic interest rates sometimes had less than $1,000 in orders.

As a result, my only concern here is that outside of the major two categories, if you are trading in large volumes, you might struggle to get all of your orders matched.

To test Fanatics Markets, I mainly used its Android app

I used the desktop website to start my Fanatics Markets prediction markets review, but I quickly changed to the mobile app and I preferred using it for sports prediction trading. There’s two apps – Android and iOS – I could only test the Play Store version though as I don’t have an iPhone.

The ratings and customer reviews for the iOS version look pretty good though. You can see the current app ratings below:

Fanatics App VersionStar RatingNo. of Reviews
iOS App Store4.71,300+
Android Play Store4.550,000+

Reviews mainly praise the usability of the app, although I saw a few complaints about the misleading welcome bonus? I didn’t have the same experience, so I’m not sure if that’s a case of user-misunderstanding or not.

Anyway – I loved the Android app. The touchscreen scrolling and navigation are superb. I was able to find the NBA and EPL predictions I wanted to trade, and account management was a breeze. With a side-by-side comparison of the app and Fanatics Markets desktop site, I also saw no difference in features and promos.

The Fanatics Markets desktop website works like a dream though

Although I mainly used the app, that doesn’t mean the Fanatics Markets desktop site is rubbish! Far from it. The site looks sleek – I’m a fan of the black and white color scheme. It pops, and gives great text readability.

Also, I like how they display the prediction categories. For instance, with the sports section, I got a list of sports on the left, and then the individual games/events in the middle. Above that, you also get tabs for the prediction types such as player props, game lines, and futures markets.

It’s incredibly logical and I think anyone who’s used P2P prediction exchanges will work things out in seconds. Lastly, I was happy with the performance of the Fanatics Market website too. Page speeds were instant for me, I had no 404 errors, and executing trades was a smooth experience too.

5 things that pointed towards Fanatics Markets being a legit exchange

I had a few questions in mind when making this Fanatics Markets prediction markets review, such as, is Fanatics Markets legal and safe? I got my answers quickly – I trust the brand 100% and the core features such as fees, payments, and regulatory oversight are spot on.

1. I found a simple and fair trading fee structure

From what I could see, Fanatics Markets has a variable fee structure where each trade contract has a fee based on the price of the contract, and how the order is executed. I didn’t see anything like a formula which is common for P2P prediction exchanges to use.

A few key points about the fee structure include:

  • You pay fees for buying and selling trade contracts.
  • The minimum fee is typically around $0.0034.
  • The maximum fee can be as high as $0.0275.
  • Usually, fees are smaller the closer the trade contract price is to $0.50.

Compared to other sites I’ve tested, the maximum potential fee is higher at $0.0275 – typically I see a maximum cap of $0.020 for example. But, it all depends on your trade contract price.

Don’t worry about working out fees either – when you go to execute a trade, Fanatics Markets shows a full breakdown of your costs including the trading fees – this is usually the case, and I found a similar setup when I made my Prizepicks review.

2. It has oversight from the CFTC

My research into the brand showed that Fanatics Markets is currently available in 21 States. The company behind the brand looks to be Morton St. Trading Investments, LLC, which is a CFTC-registered futures commission merchant. They are also a member of the NFA – National Futures Association.

It’s also worth noting that Fanatics Markets works in-conjunction with Crypto.com who are responsible for providing their futures derivatives. Crypto.com also has regulatory oversight from the CFTC.

On top of that, they have a section dedicated to risk disclosures which informs traders about the inherent risk with prediction markets. I also like that they have supporting documents such as regulatory info, fee disclosures, risk management, and a notice of financial incentives.

3. The site and apps felt especially secure

I want to know my personal info is secure when trading at a P2P exchange and I had no reservations with Fanatics Markets. When I opened the site, I immediately found that they use TLS encryption, and when this Fanatics Markets prediction markets review was published, they had a valid certificate.

I tested the site using a European VPN too, and there wasn’t any geoblocking which was a concern – usually I’d like to see people from outside the US prevented from even viewing the site.

Still, I was pleased with the verification steps. You have to verify your ID as part of the registration process. This includes entering personal info like your name, D.O.B, address, and SSN. After that, you also have to answer a few trading questions, and submit ID documents. It’s an especially thorough process, and it eased any concerns I had about security and fraud.

Lastly, there’s an MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) feature for your login that you can use. I always have this option switched on if possible – unless someone has your phone or has hacked your email then they ain’t getting into your account!

4. I was able to use PayPal to credit my Fanatics Markets account

If possible, I’ll always use PayPal for trading payments – I did this in my Underdog Prediction Markets review for instance. I was pleased to see, therefore, that Fanatics Markets accepts PayPal, plus these fiat options:

  • ACH Bank Transfer.
  • Debit cards.
  • PayPal.
  • Apple Pay.
  • Venmo.
  • Wire Transfer.

From my testing with this Fanatics Markets prediction markets review, there’s a minimum deposit and withdrawal limit of $10. Also, I was bummed to see that there is a flat 2% deposit fee, regardless of the payment method you use. This is something I had to work into my trading calculations and it can make it more difficult to make a return on trade contract prices of 95c+.

Despite this, I was impressed with the payment processing speeds. My PayPal deposits always landed instantly, and I was never waiting more than 24 hours for my withdrawals.

5. There’s a decent help center and email support

Fanatics Markets support is ok, but it ain’t the best. For example, I did not see a live chat function. This is usually my go-to support option. Instead, there’s a help center, email support, and a direct email support ticket system.

The help center has most of the basic info you need to get up and running – there’s categories for the signup process, account management, and payments, for instance. I also loved that they have a “Fanatics Markets 101” section which is basically like a guide for newbies. On top of that, there’s a “Responsible risk” section which teaches you about the potential risks with prediction trading.

For actual help though, things are a little slow. I used the email support ticket system, and sent direct emails. Of the 4 I sent, I got replies for two within 3 hours, and the other two responded too in 24 hours. So, a little hit and miss. Still, the replies I got effectively sorted my queries for trading fees and account security.

I even got a FanCash trading bonus as a new customer

I wasn’t expecting much in terms of a Fanatics Markets promo code, so I was surprised when I got a FanCash boost as a new customer. On a side note, FanCash is basically a type of bonus cash that you can use to make trades with.

So, the offer – I was able to get up to $150 in FanCash spread across my first 14 days of having an account here. It’s like a trading match bonus where your trading amount is matched with a specific amount of FanCash each day. It’s an incremental amount, and you can see the breakdown per day below:

  • Days 1-3 – $2.50.
  • Days 4-6 – $5.00
  • Day 7 – $7.50
  • Day 8 – $10.00
  • Day 9 – $12.50
  • Day 10 – $15.00
  • Day 11 – $17.50
  • Days 12-13 – $20.00
  • Day 14 – $25.

That’s a potential $150 FanCash trading bonus. Just be aware that the trades have to have a contract price of $0.90 or lower. Also, your FanCash is non-withdrawable, and you must use any bonus FanCash you get within 7 days of signing up.

I’m a fan of this signup offer. Sure, it’s a little complex, but it can be a big boost to your initial 2 weeks of trading at Fanatics Markets and there’s no real downsides.

There’s also other FanCash incentives such as a 10% FanCash back bonus

Once I’d got my head around the signup offer, I started looking for other promos for this Fanatics Markets prediction markets review. There wasn’t a huge amount, but the three things I saw were all superb and some of the best promo features I’ve seen at P2P prediction exchanges recently:

  • Veteran trader bonus of $500 if you trade $10,000 in your first 7 days.
  • 10% bonus FanCash back on every trade for everyone regardless of the outcome.
  • Fanatics ONE rewards/incentive program.

On top of the standard Fanatics Markets signup offer, there’s also a much higher bonus for people who intend to trade a lot. You can basically get $500 in FanCash provided that you trade over $10,000 in your first 7 days of activity.

The promo I was most interested in though was the FanCash rakeback feature. I had to double-check this offer as I wasn’t sure it was right. But, it is – all customers get a 10% FanCash bonus back on all trades they make. From what I can see, this is available for everyone, on any trade, and you get the 10% back whether your trade contracts settle or not. This is huge, and it’s essentially like you’re trading with only 90% of your funds.

Lastly, there is also the Fanatics ONE incentive program. This is their VIP program and it works across all their different services. You get points by spending money, and this increases your ONE tier. You then get access to different perks like bonus FanCash, monthly rewards, access to exclusive drops, and access to the Fanatics ONE shop.

I will continue using Fanatics Markets for its NBA and soccer predictions

Making this Fanatics Markets prediction markets review was like a breath of fresh air for me. I’m sold on it! I think for sports predictions, this is one of the top sites and apps I’ve used. Not only do they support markets for the MLB, NBA, NFL, and NHL, but there’s European soccer, tennis, golf, and a heap of other popular sports.

I do think there needs to be improvements for its markets outside of sports and politics though. Right now, it’s clear sports is the emphasis, and there’s not a lot of markets for economy, culture, and crypto predictions. I wasn’t too bothered about that though, and other things like the signup offer, the security, and the superb mobile apps gave me an overall positive experience.

So, for sports fans, I definitely recommend Fanatics Markets, and if you want to get signed up and start trading, all you need to do is click the banners we’ve got on this page.

Fanatics Markets is a peer-2-peer prediction exchange. It facilitates the trading of yes/no contracts for real-world predictions. Users can sign up here using our banners and trade predictions on things like sports events, elections, crypto prices, and economical indicators. 🔒 Is Fanatics Markets safe?

I believe so! I never had any security issues here. The site and apps have TLS encryption, and you can turn on 2FA for your log in. I also like that they’ve got multiple verification steps before you can access all of the features.

🌎 Where is Fanatics Markets available in the US?

Fanatics Markets currently has a limited US availability and you can sign up from 21 states including – Alaska, Alabama, California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Maine, Minnesota, Mississippi, North Dakota, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wisconsin. 📊 What’s the liquidity and trade volume like at Fanatics Markets?

I found the sports and political predictions to have the highest trade volume. The US pro league markets including the NBA and MLB had thousands in orders for most games. Similarly, the US Midterm and Presidential predictions were popular. Outside of that, things fall off a little for the economy, culture, and crypto markets.
