Based on my research, I’ve created a Ripit review below, and my initial impressions were positive – this looks like it could be a superb site for beginners and those wanting an easy getaway into the world of card collecting. About Ripit

Ripit specializes in trading cards and gives you the ability to do card rips online in the form of their packs. The prices range from $25 up to $500, and contain an impressive range of popular and potentially valuable items. The product was launched in 2026, and it has grown a large following in a short space of time, mainly due to the promotional efforts of Logan Paul via his YouTube channel.

What Can You Rip on Ripit?

Ripit currently features Pokemon, Baseball, Basketball, and Football packs. Each pack contains one fully-graded Slab. The pack prices range from $25 up to $1,000, and within each pack you have three different tiers of potential rarity/value Slabs you can pull – Mega, Elite, and Heat. You can see a summary table of the current card packs below:

Pack TypePrice RangeContentsNotable Slabs
Pokemon$25-$1,000One Pokemon cardFlareon 1st Edition, Wartortle 1st Edition
Basketball$25One NBA basketball cardN/A
Baseball$25-100One MLB baseball cardTopps Shohei Ohtani Silver Glossy
Football$100One NFL football cardN/A

Pokemon

Pokemon packs are by far the biggest seller right now on Ripit and they have a fantastic range of different packs. You can see a breakdown of the different pack types and their potential contents below:

PackPriceMegaEliteHeatNotable Slab
Starter$254.00%46.00%50.00%2023 Mew EN Blastoise EX Special Illustration
Great$502.50%47.50%50.00%2000 Erika’s Gym Chal Venasaur Holo
Super$1002.50%47.50%50.00%2005 Pokemon EX Ditto (Pikachu)
Alpha$2502.50%47.50%50.00%1999 Flareon 1st Edition Holo
Ultra$5001.50%48.50%50.00%2002 Dark Gengar Holo – Neo Destiny
Master$1,0002.50%47.50%50.00%1999 Pikachu 1st Edition – Red Cheeks

It’s important to note that the value of the Mega, Elite, and Heat cards in each pack will vary. For example:

  • Starter – Mega Example – 2023 Mew EN Blastoise EX Special Illustration – $576.82 FMV.
  • Alpha – Mega Example – 1999 Flareon 1st Edition Holo – $6,809.334 FMV.
  • Master – Mega Example – 1999 Pikachu 1st Edition – Red Cheeks – $25,000 FMV.

So, the percentage chance of pulling the different card tiers doesn’t really change, BUT, the FMV (Fair Market Value) increases alongside the pack price. In terms of variety, there’s both English and Japanese cards, plenty of holos, and both modern and vintage Pokemon to add to your collection – I think they’ve done a great job of creating a varied and versatile collection.

Baseball

During the creation of this review, there were only the $100 baseball card packs available, and they had a limited stock. The drop rates for these packs were as follows:

  • Mega – 2.5%
  • Elite – 47.50%
  • Heat – 50%

There looked to be plenty of quality players represented in the packs, including a good chunk of highly valuable Shohei Ohtani cards from Topps. I checked through the contents, and most of the cards were also either PSA 9 or 10 which is great for their collector and resale value.

Basketball & Football

When I reviewed Ripit, both the basketball and football packs were also sold out. As a result, I was NOT able to see their potential contents or get an idea for what they might contain. They also both looked to have more limited availability in terms of the pack value tiers compared to Pokemon.

What Can You Do With Your Cards?

Similar to what I found in my Tiltrips review, Ripit has a few different things that you can do with your cards once you’ve opened your packs. The first thing to note is at the moment, the site doesn’t have anything like a marketplace feature. BUT, it does offer card deliveries, plus a more in-depth offer system.

Get your Slab shipped

If you like the Slab you got, you can get it delivered to an address of your choice. From my own testing and research, the shipping system has the following terms and caveats:

  • Shipping is only available in the US.
  • You can get up to 19 Slabs shipped at once for the same shipping cost.
  • Your items should be delivered within 14 business days via FedEx.

Review of submit an offer for your Slab

Unlike many card break sites I’ve tested, Ripit actually has a dual offer system if you do NOT want your card and you want to simply sell it on:

  • Initial offer: For the first 24 hours after opening your Slab, there will be a Ripit buy-back offer that you can either choose to accept or reject.
  • Secondary offer: If you do not want to accept the initial Ripit offer, after it has expired, you can submit an offer to THEM and their team will choose whether to accept it or not.

Throughout this process, the card remains yours until you either get it delivered or you sell it.

Payment Methods Available at Ripit

After creating my Ripit account, I was able to link a credit card for payments. As far as I can see, you do not have a deposit balance – instead, you use your credit card to make direct purchases, and if you go on to sell your Slab pack to Ripit, the funds will be transferred to the credit card you used for your initial purchase.

Right now, you’re pretty much limited to credit card payments, but the site is still incredibly new, and I expect a wider range of payment options to be added in the future.

Bonuses and Promotions

Similar to what I put in our Ripit promo code review, there are currently no promotions or bonuses at all. I’ve tested this site extensively, and right now, it’s pretty barebones. You essentially have the different packs that you can rip and that’s it – there are no other features to speak of. As I’ve said above though, this is a new card break site and it’s just launched, so there is the potential that things like promotions and bonuses, plus more utility for the site will be added in time.

Overall Experience at Ripit

I LOVE the experience that Ripit provides and I think that this is currently one of its strongest features. The usability of the site is fantastic, but there does need to be an improvement in the customer support response times.

📦 Pack Ripping and Availability

The potential packs that you can buy and rip look great. I like the gritty authentic artwork for the packs, and the various references to Logan Paul, his WWE wrestling career, and the special CoroCoro #223 magazine that you can pull as a mega drop from any of the packs (It’s valued at $150,000!). Similar to the Upper Deck E-Pack process, the animation for actually ripping the packs and revealing your Slab looks cool too.

In terms of availability, it looks like the company is still building its stock as when I created this guide, there were no basketball or football cards in stock, only the $100 baseball pack, and limited stock of the different Pokemon packs – if they want to expand their customer base then they certainly need to boost availability and stocks going forward.

💻 Desktop and Website Utility

Ripit has one of the most stylish and simplistic card break site designs you’ll find and I think this is a major advantage. Instead of being packed full with flash gimmicks and bright graphics, it’s clean and modern, and the emphasis is on the usability and the card packs themselves.

I believe that first-time collectors and those new to TCG trading will find this site especially beneficial – you can get started in no time, and because of the lack of other features, you can get right into the pack ripping process without any stress.

For mobile accessibility, there is not a mobile app at this point in time. However, there IS a mobile responsive browser version of the site which I’ve also tested. It works just as well as the desktop website, and I think it gives a pleasing pack opening experience. From a technical standpoint everything works flawlessly too.

🤝 Customer Support

When I created this Ripit review, there was email support, a live chat, and an FAQs section. I tested the email support and sent a few different queries – the average response time was within 24 hours which was OK, and on par with other sites I’ve used, but it’s still not exactly fast.

The FAQ section is really detailed too, and I actually found out most of the additional information about the site via it. It explains how the pack rip process works, the shipping options, and the offers system, plus other general information about the brand.

If you click on the help center, there is also a live chat – I would like it if this was accessible from the homepage though and more visible. I tested this a few times, and you initially have to provide a few details to an AI chatbot, but a real human will reply. I typically got a response within 15-20 minutes which isn’t the quickest. BUT, the quality of support I received was spot on.

Is Ripit Safe and Legit?

While I had a pretty good pack ripping experience with Ripit, I also had to be sure about the legitimacy of the brand and its practices. This is why I spent this portion of the Ripit review looking at its KYC process and general security.

KYC verification process

The first thing I noticed was that Ripit has a thorough KYC process. When you go to register an account, you have to enter an email verification code first, and after that, you also have to do an SMS verification.

Finally, there is a full KYC check including document uploads for ID verification via a third-party provider who does not store your information. I know this is a little annoying, BUT, it’s a fantastic anti-fraud measure and makes sure that only legit people are signing up at Ripit and prevents things like dual accounts.

Website security and transparency

The site itself has pretty good security. It’s got standard features I expect card break sites to have like SSL encryption, and when I wrote this Ripit review, there was an active SSL certificate provided by Google Trust Services. On top of that, there’s a decent documentation section and a series of FAQs that explain how the different features of the site work.

Conclusion: Is Ripit Worth the Try?

That’s my initial Ripit review completed and I am sure I will add to this in the future as the site develops. Right now it is a little barebones, and it’s clear that there is room for future growth and the addition of more features. HOWEVER, in the same instance, I do not think I’ve seen any other site that offers such a simple, smooth, and straightforward ripping process.

They have done a fantastic job with the usability here, and I think this makes it one of the top sites for beginners, new collectors, and those getting into the card break scene. Obviously the Pokemon cards are the main feature here, and I was impressed with the quality of the potential Slabs inside, and the dual offer system. With all that in mind, I would definitely recommend it, and if you want to try it for yourself, feel free to click any of the banners we have on this page.

Ripit FAQs

🛡️ Is Ripit legit?

Yes. Ripit has an extensive registration process which includes both email and SMS verification, plus a full KYC check as an anti-fraud measure. Additionally, the site uses SSL encryption and HTTPS connectivity.

Not right now. At the moment, you can access a mobile-responsive browser version of the Ripit website on your smartphone. This works perfectly fine and allows for a smooth pack ripping experience.
