Graphical weirdness

oAkHi!
I have a big problem with my graphic settings. although english is not my first language i try to explain as best as i can.
so i want to play valorant in 4:3 resolution WITH black bars. But the game is always stretching my resoltuion to full screen. as everybody would do, i checked my graphics driver. and there it is set to "preserver aspect ratio" which means i should be able to play black bars.
just to be sure, i tried every possible combination of settings ingame and in my graphics driver to get black bars. but no... i cant play valorant with black bars. i even double checked with my csgo settings. the result: i can play csgo with black bars, but i can not play valorant with BB.
here is some relevant info: radeon rx 5700 xt, driver version 20.4.2, win10 home.
