Good afternoon r/VALORANT!
After months of hard work, I am proud to release my Valorant companion application Road to Radiant. If you are interested in trying it out, you can download the app here on Overwolf. https://www.overwolf.com/app/Michael_St._Onge-Road_to_Radiant
Road to Radiant comes packed with tons of unique features to help you improve.
Insights
One of the problems I felt with other applications is that they give you tons of data, but they don’t give you any help in actually making sense of that data. Road to Radiant generates daily insights for each user that gives you easily digestible pieces of information about your gameplay. It also generates insights based on the community’s stats to help you understand the meta of the community.
Full screen second desktop
For players who have a second monitor while playing, Road to Radiant can display an overview of your current game, with basic stats and a graph to help you understand how you are playing. Hopefully now you won’t need to spam tab the entire game to look at the scoreboard!
Customizable Stats
When viewing the stats of the community or your own personal stats, Road to Radiant allows you to get the specific data that you’re looking for. Currently, you can sort stats by rank, act, patch, map, and whether the character was on attack or defense, all at the same time. This gives you complete flexibility to determine which agents are best in which situations, and how their viability varies by rank.
Personal Games
This app keeps track of each of your games with detailed information about your game, with round by round information. Also, you can easily compare your performance in that game to your historical performance by viewing your average performance on that map, rank, character, or patch.
Friends
Road to Radiant makes it very easy to share your stats with your friends and compare your performance with each other. Once you become friends within the application, you can view basic information about the other player and compare your stats to theirs along with the rest of your friends. By using friends to share stats with other users, you can have greater control over who can actually view your personal information and it makes it easy to view all your friends stats at once.
Future features
I plan on creating a method to allow you to directly get your personal stats, community stats, and your friends' stats so that it is easy for you to make your own insights. Additionally, I also want to provide statistics of the strength of different team compositions to view synergies between characters. I plan on attempting to get access to the Valorant API soon, even though I know it is fairly exclusive. This will allow data to be more complete, giving more effective insights and data on the community, and allow the application to store your complete match history. My goal is to make the application fit the needs of those who use it, so I am completely open to implementing your feature requests.
This application utilizes Overwolf and the Overwolf API, which Riot has said is completely safe to use: https://support.overwolf.com/support/solutions/articles/9000182312-overwolf-won-t-get-you-banned
