G2 Esports come into the Allied Esports Odyssey with three tournament victories in a row, the Mandatory.GG Cup, the WePlay! VALORANT Invitational, and The Vitality European Open . The organization has always been known to be a home to internationally successful esports teams, and their VALORANT roster is nothing short of spectacular. In addition to that, we have Vodafone Giants wanting to prove themselves in the VALORANT competitive scene, at least regionally in Europe. Although there are only six participating teams, it will give us an indication of how they will fare under tougher conditions.
Out of more than 355 registered teams in both qualifier tournaments combined, BBL Esports and ZyppanGoKill managed to make it out. The latter won the first iteration to secure their spot, while BBL Esports made it through the second tournament. We have seen BBL Esports finish 3rd-4th in the Mandatory.GG Cup, so they are definitely a force to be reckoned with. On the other hand, we have ZyppanGoKill, the roster who were rumored as FunPlus Phoenix’s target pick-up, boasting former SKADE and PartyParrots members.
