Spanish-based organization KOI, formed by Ibai Llanos and recently retired football player Gerard Piqué, has finally announced its lineup, after a long wait. Among the 30 VALORANT partner teams, KOI has remained the only team that has not announced their 2023 roster, while 29 have already announced their rosters for the 2023 VCT season.

KOI's 2023 VCT roster includes 18-year-old young Russian player Nikita "trexx" Cherednichenko and 29-year-old Spanish Jose Luis "koldamenta" Aranguren, who are recently played together in Guild Esports, teaming up with 21-year-old Russian player Bogdan "sheydos" Naumov, who achieved lots of success with M3 Champions and young Bulgarian player Berkant "Wolfen" Joshkun.

The roster also includes the Head Coach André "BARBARR" Möller, who has also worked with Nikita "trexx" Cherednichenko and Jose Luis "koldamenta" Aranguren in Guild Esports, and Alex "goked" Kie as a Strategic Coach.

The last piece of the puzzle is still missing from KOI's announced roster. And that last missing piece is rumore Patryk "starxo" Kopczynski, who win the the VALORANT Champions 2021 with Acend. Many believe that once his current Acend deal expires, starxo will join at the beginning of 2023. Numerous of his previous world championship colleagues, such as cNed with NAVI, BONECOLD with Vitality, and Zeek with Heretics, have already found new homes with partnered teams.

KOI, which entered the VALORANT arena in January of this year, has not had a chance to show itself in big tournaments until now.

All 30 associated VCT clubs will formally have a starting roster on their books once the KOI roster is unavoidably completed, which is most likely at the very beginning of 2023. After that, the community will begin eagerly anticipating the VCT LOCK/IN So Paulo event, which will commence on February 13.
