T1, one of the 10 VCT Pacific partner teams of Riot Games, has made changes to its VALORANT roster. The organization parted ways with Kim "BeomJun" Beom-jun, who joined the roster in October 2022, and announced the signing of Kang "iNTRO" Seung-gyun, who left Gen.G Esports in December 2022.

Beomjun, who joined the T1 cast in October 2022 along with Ha "Sayaplayer" Jung-woo, had no experience on the professional stage until that day. In November 2022, a month after he joined the team, Beomjun became the 6th player when the organization signed former professional Overwatch player Lee "Carpe" Jae-hyeok. The 19-year-old BeomJun bid farewell to T1 without having played in a single tournament since joining the team.

Following the release of BeomJun, the organization announced the signing of 21-year-old Kang "iNTRO" Seung-gyun, who has played for teams such as DAMWON Gaming and Gen.G Esports in his career, forming a 6-man roster. Being a member of teams like DWG KIA and Gen.G Esports throughout the domestic VCT tournaments in 2021 and 2022 gave iNTRO far more experience than 19 years old BeonJun.

T1 competed in its first tournament in 2023 as a partner team at the VCT 2023 - LOCK//IN. Due to the single-elimination bracket implemented, T1 only played against FURIA in their first match in the tournament and suffered a heavy loss following a 7-13 on Pearl and 5-13 on Icebox.

The top three teams from the VCT 2023 - Pacific League, which runs from March 25 to May 28, will be invited to the VALORANT Champions Los Angeles tournament in August and the VCT Masters Tokyo tournament in June. In VCT Pacific League, together with T1, the other teams competing are DRX, Paper Rex, Gen.G, ZETA DIVISION, Team Secret, Detonation FocusMe, Global Esports, Talon Esports, and Rex Regum Qeon.

T1’s roster is now as follows:

South Korea Ha "Sayaplayer" Jung-woo United States Joseph Seungmin "ban" Oh South Korea Son "xeta" Seon-ho South Korea Byeon "Munchkin" Sang-beom South Korea Lee "Carpe" Jae-hyeok South Korea Kang "iNTRO" Seung-gyun
