VIMDOLOL lineup join RED Canids Kalunga

RED Canids, known as RED Canids for sponsorship reasons, are one of the bigger esports organizations in Brazil. With teams in League of Legends, PUBG, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, and Fortnite, they’ve become a household name in Brazil and around the globe. Today, RED Canids have announced the signing of Brazilian unsigned team VIMDOLOL.

The full squad of RED Canids Kalunga is Matheus "PEPA" Coletto, Gustavo "Sacy" Rossi, Wallacy "prozin" Sales, Julio "pollo" Silva, and André "masu" Carravieri. By far the two most notable players are Sacy and masu. Sacy is a well-known streamer in Brazil, and was formerly the bot laner for RED Canids’ League of Legends team, while masu, previously known as Lubbock, was a DPS player in Overwatch, who played in Contenders South America 2018 Seasons 2 and 3 and 2019 Season 2.

In VALORANT, each has found plenty of success with VIMDOLOL. The team was formed from the ashes of BADARANTS, who all parted ways after Gamers Club Ultimate. PEPA rebuilt the team around himself, and they became very successful. VIMDOLOL, though sometimes still playing under the BADARANTS banner, achieved 3rd/4th place at Gamers Club Ultimate #2, second place at the EVOlution Open - Brazil, and third place at the Copa Rakin #2.

Recently, Vivo Keyd Stars got into the Brazilian scene by picking up an unsigned roster, and RED Canids Kalunga are doing the exact same. VIMDOLOL have slightly better results, though, so big things will be expected at First Strike. The Brazilian edition kicks off this weekend with the Open Qualifiers, continuing to the Final Qualifiers happening on November 14th and the Regional Finals from December 3rd to 6th.
