100 Thieves begins major rebuild: Five players and three coaches LFT
For teams out of the 2025 VCT season, the offseason continues to be a time of reflection and rebuilding. 100 Thieves have now allowed five of their players and three coaches to explore new opportunities as their contracts come to an end. Following are all the players and coaches given the green light to seek new teams:
100 Thieves: Time to rebuild
Asuna LFT for the first time in five years
Asuna, the longest-standing member of 100T, first signed with the org in 2020. In his LFT post on X, he shared that he’s still open to staying with the team, but is also ready to explore what's next. Known for his aggressive playstyle and dominance as the team's primary Duelist, Asuna made it clear that he is not looking to play as a scan Initiator or take on IGL duties.
Zander, Cryocells and Kess follow suit
Zander also expressed an openness to return to 100T in 2026, but is currently seeking new offers while the org evaluates a full rebuild. Zander brings flexibility as an IGL, Sentinel, and Controller. He recently stepped into the IGL role after Boostio was benched, marking his first time calling at the VCT level after prior experience in Tier 2.
Despite only signing with 100T two months ago, Kess is now LFT as well. He stepped into the Sentinel role after Boostio’s benching and also filled in occasionally as a secondary Controller or Initiator. Previously, he had been a part of the VALORANT scene since 2021 and gained experience playing for QoR. Moving forward, Kess was clear in his statement: he's not looking to play Duelist.
Cryocells is the latest 100T member to announce his LFT status on X. With a long-standing history on both 100T and XSET, he’s one of the more experienced players on the Americas stage. In his post, he shared that he's most comfortable on Duelist, but is also open to playing Sentinel or Controller.
Boostio looking to leave the bench
Boostio has spent recent months on the bench after Kess took his spot in July for VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - Americas Stage 2, and Zander assumed IGL duties. Boostio had been leading the team since early 2024, and his biggest career highlight remains winning VCT 2023 - Champions with Evil Geniuses. In his LFT post, he shared his hunger to return to competing at the highest level and win another trophy.
Two coaches leaving their seat
With over a decade of experience, Zikz is now targeting high-level roles such as Head Coach, General Manager, or Esports Director. After helping EG win Champions 2023, he joined 100T aiming to bring that success to the roster. Unfortunately, 100T hasn’t found international success recently—their last global appearance was at VCT 2024 - Masters Shanghai.
Both of the Assistant Coaches, frenya and rudi, are also moving on. After getting his first taste of Tier 1 competition with 100T, frenya is now looking for new coaching opportunities in both VCT and VCL. He’s hoping to continue building his résumé at the highest levels of the game. Rudi, meanwhile, is looking for the same type of positions as frenya but is also open to become a player himself and join a roster as an IGL.
One remaining player
Currently, only Daniel "eeiu" Vucenovic remains on the roster. He has been with the squad since 2023, and it’s unclear whether he will also be exploring other options as he has yet to post an LFT update.
With five players and three coaches now looking for new opportunities, it’s still possible that some could return to the 100T lineup for the 2026 VCT season. As a franchised team, 100 Thieves will continue to be a presence on the Americas stage.
100T current roster:
- Daniel "eeiu" Vucenovic
