BBL Esports, one of the partner teams in EMEA, announced that they have parted ways with Mehmet "TURKO" Özen by mutual agreement.

BBL Esports part ways with Turko

Turko started his career at Oxygen Esports. He made a name for himself in the 8 months he played for Oxygen Esports. Turko, who stood out in Turkey Challengers tournaments, transferred to SuperMassive Blaze in May 2021. Turko, who made his real breakthrough here, qualified for the VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters - Berlin at SuperMassive Blaze. However, Turko and his friends could not show the performance they wanted in Berlin could not get out of the groups, and finished the tournament in 9th-12th place. After a short Dsyre adventure, Turko returned to his home country and signed with BBL Esports. Turko's career didn't go as well as he wanted in BBL Esports and EMEA Challengers. In VCT 2022: EMEA Stage 1 Challengers, Stage 2 Challengers, the team finished in 7th-8th place. Then Turko and co. left Brazil after losing to DRX in their first encounter at VCT 2023: LOCK//IN São Paulo earlier this year.

BBL Esports, which has been up and down recently, completed the VCT 2023: EMEA League with 3 wins and 7 losses. During the break, while the league was going on, BBL Esports went through a series of changes such as parting ways with coach Vlad and replacing him with assistant coach Epic. In the team's season-ending competitive tournament, the VCT 2023: EMEA LCQ, they eliminated in the opening matchup against Karmine Corp.

The Turkish team recently parted ways with the team's IGL Ibrahim "SouhcNi" Sağır, signaling big changes after a struggling season for them and their fans.
