Bring Me The Horizon and Spiritbox join Grabbitz for VALORANT Champions 2026 anthem

The pinnacle of the VCT season is approaching, with VALORANT Champions 2026 set to take place in Shanghai. To bring even more hype to the competition, Riot Games has announced this year’s Champions anthem, “If The Sun Burns Out Tonight.”

The anthem features several big names: Oli Sykes of Bring Me The Horizon, Courtney LaPlante of Spiritbox, and longtime VALORANT collaborator Grabbitz.

Rock meets electronic

Riot Games has always made music a major part of its esports events, helping create a high-energy atmosphere both inside and outside the arena.

This year’s Champions anthem, “If The Sun Burns Out Tonight,” was written and produced by Grabbitz, marking his fourth collaboration with VALORANT. His previous work includes Die For You, Fire Again, and Ticking Away, all of which have collectively amassed more than 350 million streams worldwide.

The song brings together rock heavyweights Oli Sykes, frontman of the two-time GRAMMY-nominated, multi-platinum band Bring Me The Horizon, and Courtney LaPlante, vocalist of the two-time GRAMMY-nominated progressive metal band Spiritbox, for a unique collaboration.

In the press release, Grabbitz described the song as a combination of his electronic sound with the heavy landscapes of Bring Me The Horizon and Spiritbox.

Courtney LaPlante also added:

“I cannot wait to release this song! Oli has given me the opportunity to perform live with BMTH many times over the years, and we're finally debuting something we worked on together. Grabbitz produced such a great atmosphere and a song tailored to all three of our voices, and Oli went in right away and made it a true collaboration."
