CGN Esports announce VALORANT roster for 2025

CGN Esports has officially revealed their complete VALORANT roster for the 2025 season. Following the recent announcement of the German orginazation's partnership with VCT giants Team Heretics, the new year promises to take CGN in an exciting new direction.

Despite their third place finish in the VCT 2024 - Ascension: EMEA last year, the team is ready to push beyond in 2025 with the hope of making it past Ascension and into the Tier-1 VALORANT scene. And what better way to start this new chapter in their journey than with a brand new roster.

New year, new roster

To start things off for CGN, David "DaviH" Cruz, Vincent "Vince" Kranz, and Dragan "elllement" Milanović will remain with the team for another year. The trio played a key role in the team's remarkable run last year which saw CGN rise all the way from the First Strike Malaysia & Singapore: Qualifier 1 to a third place finish in the 2024 VCT EMEA Ascension tournament.

In With the New: Hunger & Experience

Rounding out the roster will be the new additions of Štěpán "Ambi" Beránek and Berkant "Wolfen" Joshkun. Ambi has a vast understanding of the VALORANT Tier-2 scene in Europe and will come in hungry to prove he's got what it takes to hang out with the big boys. As for the Bulgarian player, Wolfen's run on KOI during the First Strike Brazil Closed Qualifier will provide the team with invaluable top-flight experience as CGN look to make it past Ascension this time around.

Trusted Leadership

Leading the team will be Navid "Kapio" Javadi, once again from the Head Coach position. Being responsible for the strategy that has been driving CGN's plays since 2021, it is clear the team has full trust in the German coach as they look to him once more for guidance towards the stars.

Now with the help of Team Heretics, 2025 may well be the year CGN finally get their break and begin to put German VALORANT back on the map.
