Cloud9 signs Ghost Gaming Game Changers roster

Cloud9 has confirmed the signing of Ghost Gaming GC VALORANT roster. The move sees Cloud9 take over Ghost Gaming GC's spot in the Game Changers ecosystem, marking a significant shift for the roster as they step into competition under new colors.

The team will make their Cloud9 debut on July 13th in VALORANT Game Changers 2026 - North America Stage 2, facing off against ROSO GC. With just four days between the announcement and their first match, the transition window is razor-thin, leaving little time for the roster to adjust before being thrown into competitive action.

A Roster With History But No Breakthrough

Ghost Gaming GC was founded in April 2025, when Relic, ariel, ketarys, miyara, GHST vanitas, and bunny bee joined forces under one banner. Since then, only Relic remains on the team, but they have remained a consistent presence in the North American GC circuit, but consistency hasn't translated into standout results.

Their highest point came at VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - Game Changers North America Stage 1, where they finished 3rd. Unfortunately, that result proved to be the peak rather than a launching pad, as their form trended downward through the rest of 2025.

The team's struggles carried into 2026. They qualified for the VALORANT Game Changers 2026 - North America Kickoff but could only manage a 5th-6th place finish. Their path to Stage 1 wasn't straightforward either, requiring the team to grind through two rounds of open qualifiers just to secure their spot.

Despite the underwhelming results, the roster has shown enough resilience to remain part of the North American GC scene, and that persistence appears to have caught Cloud9's attention.

The Proving Ground Ahead

Joining Cloud9 gives these players something they haven't had before: a stable salary and a genuinely competitive training environment. Stage 1 will serve as the litmus test for how much improvement structure and resources alone can provide.
