    Updated on February 17, 2021.

Mike "sharky" Gariti and David "XP3" Garrido have announced that they've been released from Complexity.

sharky joined the team alongside Jonah "JonahP" Pulice and coach Corey “ruin” Hartog in October. Since then, he’s played a big role on duelists, posting 236 ACS over his VALORANT career, most of which has been spent with Complexity. XP3 was a member of the team for longer, since July when the team was formed, and put up 188 ACS and 0.92 KD. However, success has not followed the players. Complexity have been quite massively disappointing, failing to qualify for First Strike in two attempts and not making either of the Challengers events North America has had so far. Along with their poor results at Riot-sanctioned events, they haven’t fared well elsewhere, winning their group at their home event, the NSG x Complexity Invitational, but falling out in the quarterfinals, and falling short at both the WSOE Online V WSOE Online V - Qualifier and the Pittsburgh Knights Pittsburgh Knights Monthly Gauntlet 2021 - January Monthly Gauntlet as well.

Changes were definitely needed at Complexity, though it must be said that it’s questionable that they chose one of their best-performing players to remove. They’ll look to rebuild for a chance at VCT 2021 - Stage 1 - North America - Challengers 3.

    Complexity are now:

United States Riley “ohai” Nguyen United States Mike “agm” Abood Canada Jonah “JonahP” Pulice

United States Corey "ruin" Hartog (Coach)
