DFM Meiy sets VCT ACS record with 509 ACS, including 6K ace
One of the most outrageous matches of the year in the Pacific VALORANT scene has just unfolded, and it came courtesy of a jaw-dropping individual performance. DetonatioN FocusMe’s explosive duelist, Ibuki "Meiy" Seki, delivered a masterclass against fellow Japanese squad ZETA DIVISION, etching his name into the VCT history books with a performance for the ages.
In their third and final map of the series, the 22-year-old locked down an unbelievable 39 kills with only 11 deaths, along with an otherworldly 509 ACS. This is the highest ACS mark of any player in VCT this year, and has set the overall VCT single-map ACS record. He averaged two kills a round, making him the defacto win condition for his team through the deciding map.
Highlight machine
Meiy’s mechanical precision was also on full display. With a 36 percent headshot rate across the full series and 302 damage per round, Meiy was a menace in every single engagement. He didn’t just put up numbers—he dominated the server with confidence and authority. He was terrorizing the opposition, and even had a couple of highlight plays to punctuate his dominance. First, he was able to lock down a 6K ace, and then followed that play up with a regular 5K ace.
A true challenge
Now, DFM looks rejuvenated, and Meiy leads all players in the league with 60 kills through their first three matches of Stage Two. He’s playing like a man on a mission—but the true test still lies ahead. Next up? A clash with Paper Rex, the reigning VALORANT Masters champions and one of the most aggressive, coordinated teams in the world. It's a matchup that will challenge every member of DetonatioN FocusMe, and for Meiy in particular, it's a chance to prove this wasn’t a one-off performance.
For DetonatioN FocusMe, this win was a much-needed morale boost. The team had a forgettable VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - Pacific Stage 1, going winless and looking lost for much of the season. Meiy himself struggled in that previous stage, posting a negative K/D, averaging 16 deaths a game, and failing to make much impact. But this time around, the script has flipped.
It’ll be very exciting to see if Meiy can keep up this blistering pace against the region’s best, or if this performance was a one-off against a struggling squad. He’ll need to prove that this incredible play wasn’t a fluke, and that he is a name that people should start to remember moving forward.
