DRX Defeats T1 to Win VCT Pacific Kickoff 2025

The Grand Finals of the VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - Pacific Kickoff came to a thrilling conclusion as DRX emerged victorious, defeating T1 in a grueling best-of-five series. The match went the distance, with all five maps played, before DRX secured the win with a 3-2 scoreline.

DRX started the series in dominant fashion, taking an early lead with a commanding victory on Abyss. However, T1 quickly responded, securing Lotus to even the score. The back-and-forth continued as DRX claimed the third map, inching closer to the title. They nearly closed it out in the fourth, but T1 forced overtime and secured the win, pushing the series to a decisive final map on Split.

In the end, both teams delivered incredible performances, but DRX managed to clinch the victory in regulation time, closing out Split 13-11 to become the VCT Pacific Kickoff 2025 champions.

With this win, DRX becomes the second South Korean team to lift a VCT Pacific trophy, following Gen.G Esports's victory last season. However, this title not only establishes DRX as the best Korean team but also solidifies them as the current best team in the Pacific region. T1's Fight and BuZz’s MVP Performance
