Enterprise Esports becomes the first Tier 2 team to qualify for VCT Stage 2 Playoffs

Across all VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) regions, Enterprise Esports is the first Tier 2 team to secure a spot in the VALORANT Champions Tour 2026 - EMEA Stage 2 Playoffs. They defeated Fire Flux Esports, sending them to the Lower Bracket, where they will face Joblife for the final Playoffs spot.

As a result, EMEA will have at least one more team in the next stage. Eintracht Frankfurt also remain in contention and can secure a Playoffs spot if they defeat the loser of the Turkish matchup between Eternal Fire and FUT Esports.

Enterprise Esports brings Tier 2 to the Playoffs

In the European region, Tier 2 teams have set a new benchmark for talent and individual skill, eliminating six Tier 1 teams along the way: Team Heretics, Gentle Mates, Fnatic, Natus Vincere, PCIFIC Esports, and GIANTX. No Tier 2 team has been eliminated from the tournament so far, making the EMEA region a notable outlier compared to other regions around the world.

In the Playoffs, Team Vitality, Team Liquid, BBL Esports, and Karmine Corp are still waiting to find out who their next opponents will be. Enterprise Esports are the first team to secure a spot in the VCT EMEA 2026: Stage 2 Playoffs.

Enterprise Esports qualified for VCT EMEA 2026 Stage 2 after winning VCL 2026 - EMEA: Stage 3. This is their current roster:

• Ilari "iluri" Puranen
• Jacob "Lime" Foster
• Denis-Stefan "kozzy" Aionitoaei

While this feat is no longer possible in China, as no Tier 2 team made it through the Play-Ins, Pacific and the Americas still have a chance to have a Challengers representative in the next phase.

VCT EMEA 2026 Stage 2

The VCT EMEA 2026 Stage 2 Play-Ins stage goes from July 15 to August 30. Only four teams will advance from Play-Ins to the Playoffs, where they will battle for a place at VALORANT Champions 2026, which is set to take place in Shanghai, China.
